We found a secret room in our house, picture included

I've seen these threads before and thought how on earth did you not know! How big must your house be to have a secret room.
Our house is not massive, 4 bed, normal size not really old or anything.
But there's a super creepy room. Hidden at the back of the loft, It's got carpet, wall paper and even spot lights! And a director's chair... just sitting in the middle of it! It's weird.

There's something about it that says 'filming', even if the lights and so on are bright but not ideal for it. It's unclear but I'd guess the wallpaper was there before the lights were installed, due to its poor repair - or paper that was bought a long time ago.

Any evidence of other furniture footprints? Unlikely given that shape.

Would you take the chair out and throw it out if you were moving, and wanted to leave only an unreadable backdrop (those chairs are very moveable and foldable, after all), or would you leave everything in place for no chance of a 'Where's that chair come from?' from someone when doing the tip run...hmmm.

I am waiting impatiently on the OPs hubbie to do a thorough search to see if there is anything else there but it does look to me like an amateur filming room of some sort.

I swear if I ever decide to sell up and move I am doing something like that in my loft first out of sheer badness lol

The "secret" room that was in fact not a secret, what with it being completely visible to everyone except it seems the OP and her husband who for some reason failed to notice the small 2ft high partition wall with the bright yellow wallpaper................

I'm well aware WHY they didn't see it - that's irrelevant.

The fact that they didn't see it does not make it a "secret" room.

I've only read the OP's comments so sorry if I'm repeating what others have said.
I had a room in our attic pretty much identical to this one in shape and size as a playroom. My father boarded over part of the loft floor and I had plywood (possibly) walls painted white. Can't remember the lighting but it could have been spotlights. It was reached by a loft ladder.
I kept loads of books and my Jacqui comics up there as well as some Barbies, games and stuff.
So, it looks normal to me. I had a beanbag, not a chair though.
It's not the same place (I lived in a three bedroom bungalow) but the initial J is very significant to me, so perhaps the psychic PP was picking up on my room too 😆

Met some of the neighbours over Christmas.
Turns out my DH knows our neighbours daughter, and her DF new the original owners from the 70s.
DH messaged the daughter and she came back with...
They made the room for their son, they made a hole in his bedroom ceiling above his bunk bed 🤨
