Answer me this- if you have a nurse/doctor from Isreal or Israeli decent….. will you not be seen by them?

It’s clearly not the Israelis that need to worry about being massacred. Nobody without severe bias and brainwashing believes that anymore.

You had to read it twice as did I. So do not call me a psychopath. If you’d live through war as I have you’d sit back down on your heels and give over. I’ve been there, I’ve no bitterness. I have friends from Kosovo who came here during their war.

You do not have a clue what you are talking about and this post is specifically about the Israel singer. I do not think there is any reason why he/she shouldn’t. I don’t want to discuss the current war in Israel, this post is about the Eurovision.

But why didn’t Hamas release the hostages? That was what Israel asked for right from the start. If Hamas had released them, then just think how many Palestinians might still be alive today. Keeping the hostages for two years has achieved nothing.

I think there is something to be said for pulling out for political reasons, but I hope the UK doesn't send an entry for safety concerns. I have a genuine concern that the live broadcast could be used by militant extremists and all of the performers (especially the Israeli performer) would be hugely at risk.

Why do you keep repeating that line without engaging with any of the responses you are getting? Do you seriously believe that ‘Hamas could have stopped it at any time’ justifies any and every human rights abuse committed against Palestinian civilians who had no ability to compel Hamas to do that?

Was it really? How? I thought I was being annoying and tedious but clearly not. Love all these free Palestine supporters jumping on a Eurovision post. Can you all not start your own post about the war? I’m sure there are numerous threads.

So you don’t think that someone would be justified in murdering your child if your husband murdered their child? So why do dead Israeli babies justify dead Palestinian babies?

And so Hamas decided to kidnap, rape and murder some festival goers. For what? What did they honestly think it would achieve. They hid them under the hospitals and schools, and then just waited, with no plan. The only thing they asked for in the two years since is for the release of Palestinian prisoners, but that wasn’t the reason for the killings and kidnaps on Oct 7th. All that’s happened is thousands of dead Palestinians, and Hamas leaders becoming millionaires…

With respect no one here is talking about Freeing Palenstine" and you are also not discussing Eurovision either.

Palestine has proved time and time again that they will keep attacking Israel. Hamas have vowed to wipe Israel off the map. What are Israel supposed to do? Let themselves be defeated?

I support the Israeli people, I am of Christian belief. I have already said I do not support the acts of Israel in terms of being disproportionate and extreme. But I do think the Islamic Hamas are using their citizens as cannon fodder. I just don’t understand how a music competition is caught up in this.

There has been no invasion of Palestine. Hamas began the war from Gaza by invading Israeli territory.

And do you think that everything Israel has done since makes another October 7th less likely? Sure, in the short-term, Hamas’ military capacity is wiped out, but a generation of Palestinian children have just spent two years living through unimaginable terror, with death and destruction raining from the sky, and they will blame that trauma in its entirety on Israel. Being bombed is a radicalising experience - you can’t bomb people out of wanting to kill you.

Everything that the Israelis experienced on October 7th, they have lived for 2 years - and at a far greater scale. Only a small minority of Israelis living in the border communities and at the Nova Festival were in real mortal danger on October 7th. But Gazans throughout the strip were in real mortal danger everyday for 2 years. However traumatised the Israelis are, the Palestinian civilians are a million times more. That is a fact. And it will inevitably lead to more attacks on Israelis that further radicalise them, and another radicalising cycle of violence.

Have you still not read my update? It was posted about 15 minutes ago but still you concentrate on the previous one which I acknowledged as not read properly.

There are, but unfortunately they've just become very quiet echo chambers for the pro Palestinian supporters, where they just argue amongst themselves because no-once else cares enough to engage. Life has moved on to other things. There’s nothing else to fight for as the hostages have now been released which is all Israel asked for. Hamas can now use the millions they’ve accumulated over the last couple of years to help rebuild….wont hold our breath though..

So we boycott TV because they show the Eurovision?

Can you read? Because if you actually read the thread you are quoting, the conversation into which you inserted yourself, you would see that the poster I was responding to claimed that because the Palestinian babies weren’t ‘lined up and shot in the head’, their deaths were morally justifiable.

why don’t you go out there and support the cause? What are you doing for those poor wee kids? Just arguing with people on social media who don’t really mind a singer on TV? Maybe you should take a flight out and sort everything out before you start slandering people here. Good luck to you. Hope you save them all.
