Answer me this- if you have a nurse/doctor from Isreal or Israeli decent….. will you not be seen by them?

I don’t see the issue. It’s fine to boycott an event. People were boycotting Russia over Ukraine.

I think Russia/Ukraine war is completely different to what’s going on in Gaza!
One country attacking another for its land…etc, to another fighting back against a well known terrorist group?
Do you agree with everything our government is doing? If no then let’s see how you like being treated when you go on holidays and people hear your voice and judge you for it!!

But the concept of boycotting an event because you disagree with Israel’s actions in Gaza and the human impact is no different to boycotting an event because you disagree with Russia’s war in Ukraine and the human impact.

What are you sprouring on Baltic states-Baltic states have expelled russians who refused,after being 30 years, to pass language test and obtain citizenship. Russians were occupiers, est/latvians were executed and when their property was “freed” it was given to russians,or they were sent to gulags-families separated,men sent to one work camp in russia and woman and children to another. After the collapse of ussr est and lat govs thought if they keep funding russian speaking schools,russian soeaking tv and radio channels for russians,gave them and their families “gray passports” which allowed visa free travel between all schengen countries and russia etc they will still learn national language etc apply for citizenship- this made it possible to do anything they wabted within these countries and had no need to learn local language. Est joined eu in 2004, they were warned that gray passports will be a thing of history and they will need to choose, estonian latvian or russian citize ship,moscow has open door policy on russians returning home with help provided setting up home etc, when the ukr rus war broke out brussels pushed for gray passport scheme to be ended and if they didnt want to return to russia they will have to apply for citize ship in the country they reside i - in estonia citizenship application costs 13eur (12gbp,salaries are same as in the uk,unlike 2500gbp in the uk) has just language test (uk language test and life in the uk test). The ones whos passports ran out and refused to apply for citizenship were returned,tens of thousands applied passed and have no problems staying where they wanted to stay. Est population is 1.4million people, half of it are russians- through estonians history russia has occupied and genocided its people, its also security concern with elections as estonia has as far allowed people with no citize ship to vote in goverment elections ( that has not happened anywhere else in the world)- from next year this wont be the case,this should have never been happening in the first place.

No person in baltic states has pointed a gun at a russian since ww2 when they (along with nazis) arrived to occupy,rape and pillage. The issue is gray passport is too good deal to give up,even EU citizens cant travel that freely and they see national languages as languages below them, during ussr estonians latvians lithuanians had to stop speaking their mother tongue in public spaces with gov departments etc and had to speak russian
