I’m genuinely just curious. My hairdresser said she thought I’m a good 2-3 stone lighter than I actually am, so it got me thinking!

Committed the cardinal sin of not RTFT! That I some loss, well done OP 👏

Namechangelikeits1999 · 12/10/2025 17:33

@ThatLadyLady why don't you get an old photo and put it next to your recent photo (for yourself I mean, not for us) so you can see the difference?

littleblackcat1 · 12/10/2025 17:35

Wow, well done! I think you must be carrying it well as I thought 65kg maybe.
Don’t think you stop feeling like the bigger version of yourself for a long time, but that’s ok, it will fade. Focus on enjoying how good it feels to be back in control of looking after yourself and all the gains.

TimeForATerf · 12/10/2025 17:37

Well done on your weight loss, I guessed 15 stone at five foot 6, because I looked smaller at five foot four and 13 stone 7 when I was at my heaviest. Not too far out.

Any how all irrelevant as you have done amazing, I lost four stone 4 pounds in total and am a different person. Keep up the good work.

Cherry8809 · 12/10/2025 17:45

I haven’t read past the first page, but I’d guess anywhere between 14-16st.

Silvers11 · 12/10/2025 17:46

About 16 stone I would say

Insertcreativenamehere · 12/10/2025 17:47

At 162cm tall I would guess 14 stone

ChristmasSlacker · 12/10/2025 17:47

17 stone. I was 15 stone a year ago and wasn’t as big. Depends how tall you are though.

Silvers11 · 12/10/2025 17:52

I guessed your weight before I read any of the other posts ( based on what I used to look like before I too lost a lot of weight - only 4 stone so far for me). So I wasn't far out. Congratulations on losing so much weight already @ThatLadyLady. You will get there. I still have about 21lbs to lose, but I intend to get there too! Good Luck

crinkletits · 12/10/2025 17:56

I’d say about 15 stone

Clarabell77 · 12/10/2025 17:59

I’d say about 12 and a half stone.

Clarabell77 · 12/10/2025 18:00

ThatLadyLady · 12/10/2025 10:06

I’m 15 stone 8!!!

really shocked by all the low guesses, but I’m guessing I carry it quite well!

You definitely carry it well!

FlutteryButterfly · 12/10/2025 18:13

Not read the full thread but I'd say 14 stone

Willyoujust · 12/10/2025 18:17

I would say around 13 stone but depends on your height

Arrrrrrragghhh · 12/10/2025 18:19

BlindSpotForCats · 12/10/2025 13:13

I agree with this. I'm 5 foot 2 and have been everything from 8 stone 4 to my now 13 stone as an adult. At 8 stone 4 I had concerned friends and family gently asking me if I were anorexic and implore me not to lose any more weight. (I had gone down from 11 stone). I remember once walking along in a shopping centre and seeing a woman in shorts walking towards me. I was staring at her legs in utter shock thinking 'That woman really needs to eat something' when I nearly smacked into a mirror. Because I did not know it was me, I was seeing my legs honestly, not through a body dysmorphia lens like I usually do.

My 'comfortable' weight is about 10 stone 10. That's a weight I don't have to fight every day to maintain once I am there. 10 stone 7 is when people start telling me I am looking too slim. I have a very large frame- stocky like a shetland pony really- what people used to call ;big bones'. That may have something to do with it.

I m 5’ 4” and basically straight up and down. When I lose weight people always comment on how ‘tiny’ I am as it all disappears evenly. I seem to diminish in people’s height perception for some reason. Like you 10 stone seems good and then I look a bit unwell.

I think the Op can ask the question as 15 stone is such a massive achievement. All the horrified comments are clearly by thinner women.

Outside9 · 12/10/2025 18:22

12.5 stone I'd guess

Mrsall · 12/10/2025 18:26

Knowing what weight I am id guess about 14-15st?

Mmpip · 12/10/2025 18:28

15 stone

welshcakesandtea · 12/10/2025 18:35

14-16 stone, we have similar shapes but you’re taller than me and I’m 12 stone x

Boohoo76 · 12/10/2025 18:36

I think you definitely look 15-16 stone as I looked much slimmer at 13 stone (I’m now 11 stone). I’m a similar height to you.

40weeksmummy · 12/10/2025 18:36

Depends on:
*body shape
*clothes
I'm 174cm, 92kg and if dressed properly (have slim waist) - people usually guess I'm no more than 70kg .
I will always remember my doctor who had to prescribe me medicine (dose based on weight) - she couldn't believe I'm 90+, and was very surprised after weighting me. And I was given less anesthesia during emergency surgery as there was no time to weight me and doctors guessed I'm 75.

Boxfreshrussell · 12/10/2025 18:39

Around 16 stone

menopausalfart · 12/10/2025 18:41

You look great. Just need to tone up. Menopause, when you eventually reach it, is a killer on the body, so do as much exercise as you can now.

AnnaQuayInTheUk · 12/10/2025 18:47

I deliberately haven't read the full thread.

Depending on your height.....

If you're on the shorter side (under 165cms) I'd guess around 14 stone.

If you're over 165cms then anything from 14 - 16 stone.

TypeyMcTypeface · 12/10/2025 16:24

You don't have to be muscular to have visible ribs and collar bone at a relatively high BMI, just big-framed. I've got them at BMI 25. My wrists, which have no fat on them, are nearly 6 inches around.

Exactly. Visible ribs and collar bone can be completely normal and not an indicator of being an unhealthy weight, it just depends on where your body stores fat. If anything my ribs are more prominent when I'm less muscular. I just store fat on my lower body.

Ultimately a lot of people hate others losing weight, and will often tell someone they look skeletal or not to lose anymore weight when that person is perfectly healthy. People on Mn always say "I look absolutely skeletal and unhealthy at 9st" when it's very rare that people of that weight actually look unwell. That's not to say anyone needs to be at the lower end of the BMI scale to look good, but most adults don't look skeletal or anorexic at Bmi of 18-21, unless they are unhealthy in other ways
