To ask how much you think I weigh?

I’m genuinely just curious. My hairdresser said she thought I’m a good 2-3 stone lighter than I actually am, so it got me thinking!

Because everyone I speak with about my weight loss is always staggered at how much I weighed and how much I weigh now! I’m just genuinely curious because my family refuse to guess 🤣

You haven’t ever had your height measured properly, ever? How? Just do it yourself anyway no? I’d say about 14 stone given your short height.

It’s very hard to give a visual based response to a weight, we can all remember the school raffle game of guessing how much a jar of sweets/items weighs!

I’d guess about 15 or 16 stone. You need to accept your hairdresser is always going to say low as to not cause offence, as will some on here, but if you want an honest answer I’d guess about 15 —16.

Weight is difficult to guess because it’s subject to so many variables like body type, muscle, and where you typically carry weight - plus people who like you tend to want to flatter you, your hairdresser is hardly going to say “oh yes, I’m not surprised you weigh 16 stone, you look every bit of it.” Just go by whether you’re happy with how you feel and look and whether your clothes fit.

Those clothes are horribly unflattering and make it almost impossible to see your actual figure and size.

I’d really stop doing that, telling people. No one is staggered, people do that to be kind. Like guessing someone’s age. You always aim low and then act stunned when they say their age.

I agree, these things never go well. And responses are always people trying to be kind through to just being honest. Hopefully the op was not looking for people to guess light to make her feel good. As if that’s what this is it was a terrible idea.

My mom was 5.3.5" tall. She obsessed about her weight hence I know her numbers. At around 130-135 lbs she looked slimmer than that pic, and about 165-170lbs she looked larger. So for OP I will suggest 150 lbs, which is 11stone ish?
