NT have made free tampons available in the gents' toilets in a castle in the Lake District. Not unisex toilets, but actual gents.

Not just any tampons, but vegan tampons (WTF are they?).
And they're also available in the ladies.

YABU They are demonstrating what a kind, caring organisation they are, & covering their arses.

YANBU They are bonkers, tossers... add your own words.

Unimportant, most of us have more important things to worry about

If it helps one single person and has zero negative effect, what's the issue?

Well it’s not overly likely many people using the gents would ever need them but it’s hurting no one, it’s ensuring that any trans men who want to use the gents and who might need them have access to them and possibly allowing a dad to grab one for a teen daughter that doesn’t want anyone to see her getting one as she’s a bit self conscious in front of strangers and really it just seems like a nice gesture on the whole?

They are for trans men (female to male)

But I suppose that women who identify as men choose to use the gents, then they'll use them.

As for vegan tampons, lots of tampons are not vegan and are tested on animals.

Not something I can care about. If trans men need them thats fine. If noone needs them they sit there.
