Heating on?

Have you got the heating on yet. ? I have 😍 I hate being cold

First day today! DH lit the log burner last night but only for a cleaning log before we start using it properly. Heating this eve just for an hour.

Our house is 80s and can definitely get cooler in the autumn/winter, but not yet this year.....I might be eating my hat next week.....or at least wearing it. 🤣

No. We're having a spell of lovely weather which doesn't seem to be the case in other parts of the UK.

Nope , we live in a highly insulated new build and I haven't worn more than a t shirt yet , the windows have been open on the latch since April . I usually don’t need to put any on til end Oct / early Nov .

I've got the sauna on as ive come back in from a walk in the cold and rain soaking wet and the heating has also gone on here

Yes for breakfast and shower time. Maybe this evening when we Stop moving around.

Ours has just clicked on, the thermostat is on 17c.

I'm hanging off for now. I do have two pairs of socks on, a cardigan and am under a throw with the dog!

No but also feeling tempted. For now jumpers will have to do.

I put it on for half an hour as despite layering up could not get warm. Also have the winter duvet back on and have unpacked my winter clothes and packed the summer ones away. Sad times.

On for an hour this morning and probably the same tonight (NE Scotland). House is well insulated but just moved in and taken up the carpets so it can get chilly.

Thermostat is set to 19 in the day at the weekend and it came on earlier so we must have dipped below! Had some radiators changed earlier in the year so it’s actually been a good chance to check they are working properly. Hopefully it’s not a regular occurrence though, could do with it not being on until October!

Nope but we discussed it this afternoon. Decided to have a fire instead and save the oil for when it's really cold. Joys of an old cottage. Have a thermal long sleeved top on but still no socks.

Ours came on itself due to the thermostat set to 18.Am also wearing a cotton jumper , jeans and socks. It’s gone off again now. I did close the living room little window that had been open for months.

We caved for hour an this afternoon, just to take the edge off. Miserable weather today.
