A man undressing in front of a woman without her consent is an act of intimidation and control. Men do not acquire consent by identifying as women

How and why has it become anything but voyeurism and control?

What on earth can be done to reverse the madness?

Trans staff should always be given dignified, adequate, separate changing spaces. Females should never feel cowed, silenced, intimidated into putting up with a man looking at them half naked.

Quite why anyone is defending this bullshit is beyond me.

No to predatory men in women's spaces. That's a complete no brainer as far as I'm concerned

10% of voters are defending

Anyone who reads a case about a male making a female uncomfortable in a space that should just be for females, not males with a special inner identity, and automatically feels the need to present an 'alternative view' IS the problem.

Anyone who can't comprehend that an alternative view doesn't have to be an opposing view, should probably sit down.

You're stating things you can't explain nor define, if anyone should be taking a seat it's you.

So should anyone else who feels the need to defend an abusive, boundary trashing arsehole of a man. Which is what you're doing. Sorry - 'presenting an alternative view'.

MrsOvertonsWindow · 04/02/2025 20:40

NHS Fife is presumably attempting to decriminalise 2 criminal offences - Indecent exposure and Voyeurism. Indecent exposure is known as to be a gateway offence to more serious sexual offences.
It defies belief given everything that is known about sexual VAWG an NHS body has policies that allow any man who claims to be a woman to access female staff changing rooms and showers (and presumably the same plus wards for women patients).

How have we allowed the NHS to get to this dangerous place?

Still waiting for this 'bullying behaviour' (by the nurse) to be explained.

Even women who have opinions you don't approve of should have the right not to be abused at work.

Everyone has the right not to be abused at work. Even the ones whose life choices you don't like.

And as this all stemmed from allegations of her bullying Dr Upton, her opinions seem rather relevant to that. It's not a massive leap to suppose someone who self confessed being outspoken and knowing that her actions were against the harassment policy, might actually have been bullying someone.

None of that matters.

the question is should females be forced to undress in front of males. Yes or no?

You stated it in a separate post, you should be able to say what it means. Why would you parrot something that you don't know what it means or aren't able to explain.

And they wonder why the issues are never resolved with this kind of minutiae going on.

I said what it would mean to me, you are absolutely free to decide what it means to you. Or to draw whatever conclusions you wish from the answer I gave or didn't give or whatever. We both know it doesn't really matter because all you want to do is get to a "HA!" moment. A "gotcha!!" which will appeal to the echo chamber, when the only truth is that nobody, no matter what their views, has been able to come up with a definitive answer to questions such as this, because the issues are complex and in many ways undefinable.

But, I give you full permission to believe you got one over me in some way if it will give you the warm fuzzies you desire..

This is the sort of thing that lost the democrats the vote in the US.

Don’t listen to reasonable people’s reasonable views and see what happens.

We have the over reach of progressive authoritarianism to blame for Trump and the rise of the right.

A lot of words to say 'I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about'.

BoredZelda · 04/02/2025 20:46

a picture that clearly indicates a male. How is that biased? Are you denying that this person is male?

I'm denying this is a current picture of a person who now calls themselves Beth and looked like that as they were using changing room, which is what people are suggesting (e.g "I'll bet he shaved his beard for the court appearance)

I have no idea if that person is male or not. I might make an assumption if I saw them in the street, but it wouldn't be the first time I got it wrong tbh.

Oh I guess it's standing up to a man - that's surely bullying.

BoredZelda · 04/02/2025 20:48

To be fair the poster has admitted they don’t know what a gender change is or what it entails.

To be fair, the person said what it entails would be different for different people. The person said what it might entail for them.

Hairyesterdaygonetoday · 04/02/2025 20:48

BoredZelda · 04/02/2025 18:59

I would think that perhaps this thread might give a clue to one of the reasons surely?

Nope. Unless you are suggesting people go through a gender change just to go into female changing rooms? Which seems very unlikely.

‘Going through a gender change’ need involve nothing more strenuous for a man than saying, if challenged in the women’s changing room, that he actually is a woman. So yes, of course sex predators will do that. Because they can.

What does it matter what a man looks like? Is there a hair length that allows entry to seeing you naked?

What behaviour?

The bullying which went along with the original complaint, which was part of what she was suspended for initially.

GargoylesofBeelzebub · 04/02/2025 20:49

Lovelyview · 04/02/2025 20:26

Reading about this case is so distressing. The nurse involved had previously experienced sexual assault by a man and and told this man that she found his presence in the changing room distressing. I have to ask the women on this thread. If you were in a changing room with a woman who had had a flooding incident during her period and she said could you leave the changing room while she got changed would you refuse to leave because you had a 'right' to be there? Because that's what this man did. A woman would have given her privacy but a man refused to.

He's absolutely disgusting.

why exactly would the MSM not include a picture?

There could be multiple reasons for this. I'm pretty sure if they could, they would.

Doesn't matter what he looks like now, or what he looked like when he was in the women's changing room and refusing to leave. HE'S STILL A BLOODY MAN!

I wonder why Reduxx managed it but not the BBC? Or Pink News, perhaps?

BoredZelda · 04/02/2025 20:53

Source? Since earlier you apparently didn't know basic things about the case like the fact the nurse had indeed complained to management?

I was aware of that, it was in the BBC piece I linked to. As is the information about bullying, it is also mentioned in several other sources. Did you not read the piece when you were checking my work?

Feels like something out of a dystopian novel not our actual country. Has someone already mentioned petition on Change.org?
