He's got great "instincts" for what will get him noticed, and get people to vote for him. He's also a horrific, amoral, lunatic. It makes me worried for the human race.

i find him fascinating, he's awful & people know that but they can overlook it because he really seems to know what people want.

I know nothing about politics, but his rhetoric was shocking. Those videos about illegal immigrants, the ludicrous claims he made… I’m in disbelief that this is happening.

And in any case what is so shocking about wanting to secure your country’s borders? 8 million illegal migrants have come into the US on Biden’s watch. That is more shocking than anything Trump says.

Your "8 million" number is incorrect, Annie. Even cursory research finds the actual data. '8 million' refers to the amount of times Border Control came into contact with an immigrant, not the total amount of immigrants, illegal or otherwise.

And wages would go up for those remaining if undocumented migrants are deported. Not that this will happen, given the sheer size of the task.

And yet the last two Democratic presidents (Obama and Biden) have deported more people that Trump ever did in his 1st term when he was crowing about his wall.

Trump has been very poor on most things, especially immigration don't believe he's suddenly going to be some orange saviour.

They make up over 4% of the workforce. I'd like to see what happens when they're all removed. Those jobs won't be filled because some people will think they're too low paid and demeaning (which they often are).

People really need to move away from the gross idea that immigrants are lazy bums looking for benefits. Most want and do work.

I believe we've seen the last free and fair, properly democratic America presidential election for a long, long time. American exceptionalism will not protect it - or the constitution - from Trump.

No guard rails. Immunity from prosecution. ONLY enablers in positions of power. Control of both houses. No morals whatsoever. Doesn't give a shit about America or American people.
