"I hope the new administration in DC exacts revenge on Labour, for the Harris campaign support, for the vitriol from Lammy, Rayner, Streeting, Khan, and Milliband, to name a few."

You think Labour should have genuflected to a fascist & you hope the fascist stamps on the UK for not doing so?

Do you think we should genuflect to Putin too?

As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

I don't believe for one moment we would have been stupid enough to have voted in a sex offender.

But America appears to hate women.

Yes they do,that's why senile old Biden let hairy assed men into womens sports and women's bathrooms and women's changing rooms.

Have you just landed from Mars OP. What exactly have you seen that is so shocking.

And in any case what is so shocking about wanting to secure your country’s borders? 8 million illegal migrants have come into the US on Biden’s watch. That is more shocking than anything Trump says.

It’s not a novel idea. Your reaction is giving ‘faux rage’.

Okay, Annie.
So you enjoy all those tv clips of human beings being rounded up and shipped out.
And then YOU pick the lettuce.
You pick the tomatoes.
You pick ALL the vegetables for that salad you enjoy every night at supper.
And then YOU pick the grapes and figure out how to turn them into wine.
That’s only a teensy tiny little bit of what the people you want to deport do that high-flautín’ folks like you refuse to do, but it’ll suffice.

Lemme hear “faux outrage” lol.

BananaNirvana · 20/01/2025 06:14

Anniedash · 20/01/2025 00:21

Do you or game of phones live in the US? If not, how can you be so adamant that you are so right.

And even if you are right, which you’re not, it doesn’t matter. The public have voted. And they think you are wrong.

Why are you so sure PP is wrong? It was reported this week that out of 2 million agricultural workers, 50% are undocumented! That’s a phenomenal number to lose. A rise in food prices is predicted if the mass deportations go ahead.

I find it astounding and more shocking that at this point in time after his last 4 year reign of terror and everything that's in the news and on social media that anyone can be shocked about Trump.

It is extremely important that we do continue to be shocked and do not accept a rhetoric that this is normal or expected.

Sitting there rolling our eyes and saying "Oh well, that's typical Trump!" is simply enabling.

They make up over 4% of the workforce. I'd like to see what happens when they're all removed. Those jobs won't be filled because some people will think they're too low paid and demeaning (which they often are).

People really need to move away from the gross idea that immigrants are lazy bums looking for benefits. Most want and do work.

Great point.
We need illegal immigrants because we can’t exploit legal residents as easily. 🙄

I think the US is different to the UK in this regard though and it’s hard to get it unless you are there (general ‘you’ not personal!).

The US love immigration, it’s what it was built on. Not many average Americans have a problem with anyone coming to work hard to build a life, that’s actually encouraged. You don’t have to go back too far in many people’s family trees to find someone who did that. What they do often have a problem with is illegal immigration for a variety of reasons, mainly around national and personal security, which I quite understand.

Agree that the US has long tacitly allowed this and a whole grey economy of undocumented workers has been created which society now relies on. Not sure how that will be unpicked, if they even attempt it.

Is it a woke signalling page? Try to reflect on all the wars Obama and Biden and Bush and Clinton started and contributed to. Concentrate less on the outward manifestation.

ChessorBuckaroo · 20/01/2025 06:45

The first presidential election in the white settler entity the power (vote) was limited to white men of property.

america is a race based entity. That's its DNA. The very fabric of its being. It couldn't exist otherwise.

The Natives are "savages" as determined by one member of the elite planter class, the slave owning tyrant jefferson, as written in the racist white settler 'declaration', and their dehumanisation and ethnic cleansing received the praise of Hitler who in 1928 stated the white settler entity had "gunned down the millions of Redskins to a few hundred thousand, and now keep the modest remnant under observation in a cage".

Africans meanwhile, they are 3/5s of a person as determined by another of the white setter's racist documents, the constitution, and its fugitive slave clause was signed into law by another member of the elite planter class, washington, so he, jefferson and other slave owning tyrants could legally recover their escaped slaves (18 slaves fled washington's plantation to fight for the British during the the white settler war, and at its end he demanded they be returned to him, but they sailed as free men out of New York harbour to their freedom).

Their pro slavery, white man's national anthem (lyrics written by another slave owning tyrant francis scott key) excoriated these slaves for fighting with the British to gain their freedom (it's in the 3rd verse which is no longer sung), which is why Black people don't sing their oppressors song as have their own national anthem (Lift every voice and sing), a song which celebrates their liberation.

And on immigration, prior to 1965 this white settler entity was 85% white settlers, 11% black (descendants of African slaves), and 4% latino (the Natives having been largely wiped out via state sponsored ethnic cleansing barely registered). It had a restrictive entry and citizenship (white only) dating back to its inception, a policy that earned the praise of Hitler in Mein Kampf, "the american union categorically refuses the immigration of physically unhealthy elements, and simply excludes the immigration of certain races".

Threads like these always amaze me for their staggering ignorance as though Trump (or whatever latest political figure) is some monstrous character and the latest laws they invoke are somehow shocking. He is childs play in comparison to the tyrants and laws (as the global leader in race law) of this racist, white setter entity.

As Kelly Osbourne famously said “If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?

Maybe his immigrant wife could do it, @Anniedash?

And she was rightly cancelled for it, and apologised.
I can’t believe you just used that racist, revolting quote as some kind of flex.

It's really not.
Firstly, bar native Americans, the USA is a entire nation of immigrants and the economy only survives because of illegal migration.
Secondly, Trump speaks absolute gibberish about 70% of the time. I think suggesting people inject themselves with bleach is pretty shocking.

Rather amusing to see Mandelson perform a sharp volte face, and genuflect towards Trump, whilst Starmer has slammed on the brakes re the Chagos Islands. Talk about two-faced.

I hope the new administration in DC exacts revenge on Labour, for the Harris campaign support, for the vitriol from Lammy, Rayner, Streeting, Khan, and Milliband, to name a few.

I also hope that Musk now takes off the gloves, and does a proper job on Starmer.

Edited

Would that be fun. To watch these clowns getting properly humiliated by Musk and Trump and shown up for what they are.

MayaPinion · 20/01/2025 07:06

Trump’s just the mouthpiece. Musk is the real new president.

Exactly. I can't wait to see that.

How many young entitled Americans are going to work in slaughterhouses or agricultural fields or cleaning hotel rooms?

Sitting here with popcorn waiting for the trump voting fools to receive what's coming for them.

Exactly, the same as has happened since Brexit; crops rot in the fields because we don’t have the labour to pick them.

Serpentstooth · 20/01/2025 07:19

He seems to have a fondness for tall blonde Eastern European young women, he's married 2 of them. Will they get special exemption for being the right kind of immigrant?
