In need of some January tea time inspiration, what will you have for tea tonight? Any of your favourite go to recipes/meals also appreciated :)

We're having leftover turkey casserole from the freezer tonight so probably not helpful to you but last night we had potato hash with tomatoes, peppers and kale. It's a BBC good food recipe and might be one of our new favourites

Shopping is coming and we are off out for an appointment at 5pm so will need to make something qucik when we get back. In this case probably tuna nicoise salad as I am fancying it!
The small one wants chicken dinner tomorrow night so that's on the plan too. After than who knows!

Creamy garlic mushrooms with home made bread. Then chicken parmigiana with salad. No pudding.

Chicken with thyme, chilli jam and roasted veg.

Keema meatballs and rice

Chicken roast dinner. The kids love a cooked dinner and its cold out so thought it warm everyone up this evening.

Broccoli and spinach lasagne. Assembled myself and never done or eaten before so fingers crossed. I have wine too.

Chicken and tarragon pie with mash and peas. Pie from a really lovely deli near us.

Spag Bol with garlic bread, can’t wait 🤣

Salmon and pea pasta with brocoli on the side

Chili and rice.

Tonight is salmon with chive butter mashed potato, oven roasted leeks, chantenay carrots, and baby plum tomatoes. Last night was fiskesuppe (basically Norwegian fish soup, but Norwegian DH makes it and it does taste different to any fish soup I've made.). Tomorrow is ful medames with salad, boiled eggs, olives, and pitta bread.

home made chicken & mixed vegetable (frozen, pack of) soup with real chicken stock, far too much wholemeal toast and butter, fruit, juicy pears satsumas figs
and herbal tea, possibly ginger

Trying out some new venison and red wine sausages from the butcher, probably with mash and broccoli, maybe gravy....

Homemade lasagne and garlic bread. A faff to make but they all enjoy it.

Probably just a jacket potato and beans as the kids are out for tea tonight, I've got parents evening and I want something quick and easy.

Egg fried rice with chicken, garlic and ginger

Pan fried salmon, steamed broccoli, turnip, peas and either mashed potato or chips.

I think brocoli is starting to disagree with me but it's too tasty to give up
