I have some excess bananas that will make some fritters, with fried fish.

Pascha · 16/01/2025 14:06

Linguini Carbonara. None of us are home til gone 6.30 so it needs to be quick and easy and that's about as simple as it comes.

Ihopeyouhavent · 16/01/2025 14:08

Pizza Hut!

JBJ · 16/01/2025 14:11

I'm having jacket potato with tuna, sweetcorn, mayo and some salad. Ds is having homemade pizza. I'm still getting over a very nasty bout of norovirus and can't currently manage a lot.

Roast chicken (with roast potatoes/carrots, stuffing, yorkshire puddings etc). I like a midweek roast. :)

MyGirlDaisy · 16/01/2025 14:15

Quick Toulouse sausage pasta as busy day here.

TheScottishPlay · 16/01/2025 14:16

Sausage casserole, followed by banana split. It's one of DS' favourite meals which I'm making before he returns to uni.

Judgejudysno1fan · 16/01/2025 14:19

Skin on baby potatoes, boiled and then roasted in air fryer until crispy, grilled chicken breasts for me and smoked fish for the kids and hunky hubby served with garlic bread, spinach and diced red onions. Love it.

Kaminari · 16/01/2025 14:20

Quiche, chips and beans.

Namerchangee · 16/01/2025 14:21

I’m having a takeaway, possibly curry or Italian courtesy of DH as I’ve just landed a new job!

Crispy skin salmon with garlic butter and toasted pine nuts, parmentier potatoes and steamed veg. All homemade. Yum yum - though annoyingly not drinking this week and it does go so well with a glass of white wine :(

willowbrookmanor · 16/01/2025 14:34

DS is out so Jacket Potato’s with a choice of toppings.

CloudywMeatballs · 16/01/2025 14:37

Seared salmon fillets with lentils cooked with chard.

BlondeMamaToBe · 16/01/2025 14:48

I think we will have a takeaway. It’s been one of those weeks and I’m sick of deciding and shopping for dinner.

GreenAlien · 16/01/2025 14:51

Chicken and spinach curry (chicken saag)

MamaBanana12 · 16/01/2025 14:56

I'm gonna make some stuffed peppers with chilli mince & cauliflower rice. Some guacamole and sour cream to serve.

SoScarletItWas · 16/01/2025 14:57

Heinz tomato soup and cheese toastie. I am poorly and this is comfort in a bowl.

A good choice for a sick person, I hope you feel better soon.

Mossstitch · 16/01/2025 15:04

Dough rising for homemade pizza, made the sauce earlier in the week so simple & quick to throw together later with fresh mozzerella & mature cheddar on top.

user1471556642 · 16/01/2025 15:04

Honey BBQ beef pasta. Comforting but loads of veg in it too

Blackcordoroys · 16/01/2025 15:23

Chicken dippers, waffles and peas. CANNOT WAIT. I love a nursery tea

NeedthatFridayfeeling · 16/01/2025 15:27

Chilli on jacket potato

CornishTeaTime · 16/01/2025 15:32

We're having leftover turkey casserole from the freezer tonight so probably not helpful to you but last night we had potato hash with tomatoes, peppers and kale. It's a BBC good food recipe and might be one of our new favourites

Do you have a link please? I can't find it on the Good Food website.
