In need of some January tea time inspiration, what will you have for tea tonight? Any of your favourite go to recipes/meals also appreciated :)

Have a cottage pie filling in the slow cooker at the moment.
Last night was Jacket potato with cheese and beans and dc made syrup sponge and custard.

We are having meatballs made from Toulouse sausages, in a tomato sauce with linguine.

We're having pork with roasties, buttery carrots and broccoli. And a sauce or gravy.

Last night we had a cheeky Maccy Ds as I couldn't be bothered to cook the pork!

Falafel, hummus and roasted veg.

Salmon with pesto, roasted new potatoes, brocolli and roast tomatoes. The above with fish fingers instead of salmon for the picky eater kid!

Nando's garlic & lemon herb chicken, califlower cheese & veg.

Mushroom risotto

The plan is pizza chicken with salad...but we won't get back from DS's rugby training until late so might just have to pick something up on the way. I try not to.

I've just looked up this recipe and now I know what I'm making tonight 🙂

A rosemary, smoked paprika and garlic panko-crumbed chicken breast, done in the airfryer, with a healthy cabbage, apple and beetroot slaw with dressing.

Bratwurst with colcannon mash and tenderstem broccoli with lashings of gravy. Can’t wait

Sausage, egg and chips - a nice easy, plain meal for a change, after a few adventurous dinners earlier in the week. DH will be happy!

Pulled pork ramen made with leftover pork. DH makes the broth from scratch.

I’m making macaroni cheese and having it with some delicious Cumberland sausages from the local butcher.

Last night was chilli beef pasta, tonight is butternut squash soup with garlic bread.

I'm ill and haven't been able to get to the shop recently so it's going to be random freezer stuff tonight with everyone fending for themselves. We have frozen baked potatoes, breaded fish and scampi, a pastry bake thing, pasta ready meals, chicken nuggets, chips and frozen veg so there's at least a good choice for everyone. Plenty of cheese for toasties if anyone wants something smaller instead too.

Orzo, chickpeas, roasted veg, sundried tomatoes with creme fraiche and lemon and herb chicken.

Lasagna for us

Homemade chicken curry (using up cooked chicken) for some and homemade vegetable curry for the others. Both cooking now and smelling good.

We are going out for a few drinks tonight as we will both have finished our 4 day shift rotation.
So I was planning on frozen pizza when we got in but DH has said takeaway so who am I to argue??

However, over the last few days we've had homemade lasagne, my own take on Hunters Chicken with salad, savoury mince with a load of extra veg chucked in and the leftover veg i then made into soup.

I'll be doing salmon tagliatelle and chicken & mushroom stroganoff this weekend I think.
