A leaked French medical report from 2023 has confirmed that Algerian boxer Imane Khelif is male.

Top endocrinologists found that Khelif has XY chromosomes, no uterus, internal testicles, and a "micropenis."

The report was drafted in June of 2023 via a collaboration between the Kremlin-Bicêtre hospital in Paris, France, and the Mohamed Lamine Debaghine hospital in Algiers, Algeria. Drafted by expert endocrinologists Soumaya Fedala and Jacques Young, the report reveals that Khelif is impacted by 5-alpha reductase deficiency, a disorder of sexual development that is only found in biological males.

For anyone who hasn't seen it yet, here's another man with 5 ARD who has been taking women's medals and claiming to be a woman, despite having been through male puberty when his voice broke. The BBC still describes Caster Semenya as 'a woman with naturally high testosterone'.

Note how Semenya slips up in this interview and refers to women as 'they and them'.

And yet I still remember during the Semenya controversy that there were ardent feminists who thought it a disgrace that their sex was being challenged.

Obviously the top male athlete will be better than the top female. There is an overlap though and the top females will be better at punching than the average man on the street.

My Dh is 6ft 2 and well built but hes also 50 and not incredibly fit. I also have a 15 year old son.
I imagine both of them could do some serious damage to a trained female boxer.
Its why sports are sex segregated

So who do you think top females should compete against?

Other top females only or also men who don't quite cut it as top men?

No. Which is why he chose to compete against women.

heathspeedwell · 04/11/2024 15:01

Khelif's uncle has stated that Khelif was 'discovered' by a coach aged 15. Apparently as a teen Khelif was out playing football with the village boys.

To me it seems highly likely that Khelif, having been through male puberty by this point, already knew he was male - as did his parents if they let him play with boys at that age.

What we do know for a fact is that corrupt talent scouts go looking for boys with female names in countries where 5 ARD is more common. These scouts are consciously gaming the system because they know that the IOC doesn't do sex testing and they can steal Olympic medals from women.

Just because he has a micropenis does not entitle him to beat up women and steal their sports prizes. Surely they will strip him of the medal he wrongly received now.

I don't imagine the medal will be stripped, as private medical info shouldn't have been leaked so it won't be considered legitimate.

Please stop with the misinformation. It is very harmful to spread this type of misinformation..

On average, a male has a punch that is AT LEAST 160% more powerful than a female person.

160% at least. And that is likely to be an untrained male.

In terms of strength of women vs men, on some elements of this, the bottom quartile of male people are still stronger than the female people in the top 10% of all female people.

Yes, the top female people are going to be 'better at punching' because likely they have techniques 'better than' the average male on the street. Will their punch be more powerful? The statistics do not match your claims. They simply do not stack up .

Would you also class the results of tests for doping in sports to be private medical information? Or does only some biological cheating count?

heathspeedwell · 04/11/2024 15:05

In the Rio Olympics the gold, silver and bronze 800m women's medals all went to men with 5 ARD. Those men still all have their medals, despite there already having been proof that Caster Semenya (gold medal winner) was a man with 5 ARD.

The IOC is corrupt. They decided to do away with sex testing despite the fact that 80% of women athletes did not want it to be stopped.

ChateauMargaux · 04/11/2024 15:06

There were at least 4 XY athletes who competed in Female category at the 2024 olympics, 2 boxers and 2 footballers. Let's not forget the others!! There are hints that there were more, in other combat sports.

The IOC permitted this to happen based on the guidelines they set out and the guidance they gave to journalists which forbade them from questioning the sex of competitors.

Who will bring FIFA into the narrative to explain why they permit XY competitors in Womens' football? Their policy has significant impact across the globe, at the highest level and all the way to grass roots football... potentially impacting millions of women and girls. .. not least offering the highest salaries, transfer fees and accolades in the Womens' game to XY players and the footballing world is silent!!!!

For anyone questioning Reduxx - people behind these types of organisations (thinking grassroots feminist orgs) have to go beyond normal measures to ensure the information they share is correct.

Thinking back to the time when an organisation (might have been Transgender Trend but I’m not sure) did a FOI request and found that male trans prisoners were far more likely to be incarcerated for sex crimes than their non-trans counterparts.
Obviously this was met with uproar and accusations of bigotry (of course), so the study was then done independently. The figures were found to be higher than the feminist org had included in their data.

I trust info coming from these places far more than mainstream news outlets, who are hellbent on placating these men and their fawning pathetic followers.

Also worth pointing out that during the final match of the Olympics the best of the best female boxer who lost the gold to this cheating man could barely land a punch at all because his massive male wingspan meant her shorter arms could barely begin to get past his defence.

Anyone who is confused about this get any man to hold you at arms length then try reaching his body to make any sort of contact.

Honestly the knots some people will tie themselves in to justify this travesty.

Helleofabore · 04/11/2024 15:08

I am just going to put this on the thread too in anticipation of the 'women have high testosterone too! argument. We can then refer people back to this:

TESTOSTERONE LEVEL CHART - NORMAL FEMALE RANGE / PCOS RANGE / NORMAL MALE RANGE

USING DAVID HANDELSMAN INFORMATION INCLUDING THE LEVELS IOC SPECIFIED FOR TESTOSTERONE SUPPRESSION

This is the chart was made using information from the Handelsman et al 2018 paper below.

The 'Caster Semenya' line refers to what the IOC had specified that Semenya and others needed to suppress their testosterone levels down to, resulting in Semenya trying to overturn this at CAS.

Semenya was noted in that CAS case to have the difference in sex development categorised as 5-ARD and had testosterone levels of around 21 nmol/L.
The Hubbard line was the testosterone level that males with transgender identities had to suppress to for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
This is tweet where you can find the chart.

https://x.com/rorybowman/status/1819232725175620084

This is the study

Circulating Testosterone as the Hormonal Basis of Sex Differences in Athletic Performance

David J Handelsman, Angelica L Hirschberg, Stephane Bermon
Published: 13 July 2018

https://academic.oup.com/edrv/article/39/5/803/5052770?login=false

A poster once tried to say that Handelsman obviously supports testosterone reduction, however, this is untrue.

What is important to note here is that David Handelsman has since said this in 2022 on the SBS Insight episode after seeing further research.
Question: does testosterone suppression get rid of the natural advantage males have?

It is important to remember that what we are talking about here is the unfair advantage so the objective is to eliminate it not just reduce it. But complete testosterone suppression has now be shown in a number of studies to not to fully nullify the advantages in males, in physical advantages for up to three years.

Suppression of testosterone is partially effective. It won’t change bones. They remain longer and stronger. Haemoglobin will change, but the key things muscle, heart and lungs virtually don’t change. Or they change very little, maybe 10 - 20% reduction. But 80% of the male physical advantage remains . So it is virtually incomplete, and no where near completely reversing male unfair advantage.

More on testosterone suppression:

The key thing is whether the male physical advantage is removed over a certain time. And the answer is there is no duration which removes the unfair male physical advantage of male bodied athletes in female events. The data shows that you can get some reversal, but no where near complete and therefore there remains an unfair advantage.

lifeturnsonadime · 04/11/2024 15:10

I wonder when the mainstream media will report this.

This ought to be reported by the BBC who showed the footage on TV despite knowing that this was male on female violence.

It shouldn't be left to feminists to have to report it.

Do you think imane khelif is anywhere near as strong as the male elite boxers?

Are you honestly arguing that mediocre men should be able to go to the Olympics to hit women if they'd like? Maybe they could stay at home like the rest of us mediocre martial artists.

As I said, women boxers have been killed after being punched by women.

Have a look at the statistics for deaths. It's incredibly rare for women to die after boxing bouts. Men do with horrifying regularity. You only have to look at the KO stats. Men are always knocking each other out (AKA head injuries) and women typically aren't. I've done martial arts. DH used to teach martial arts. He could probably take a few female Olympians. But he wouldn't, because he's a decent man.

I do feel for IK growing up in a very gender-specific environment with so much pressure to succeed. That was hard. But once you know you're a man, don't hit women. And don't smirk when you do it. That was a pretty obvious fuck you.

Bigcat25 · 04/11/2024 15:02

I don't imagine the medal will be stripped, as private medical info shouldn't have been leaked so it won't be considered legitimate.

He won't lose them because the IOC knew full well he was male, didn't give a shit and let him compete anyway. He didn't break their rules, since all they require is an F on a passport. Some people think a man with a document that falsifies his sex isn't a cheat or an appalling sportsman for taking the advantage that is clearly unfair, unsafe and against the spirit of sport even if it is allowed on a technicality, but like the IOC, they prioritise male self image above female safety and equality. As ever, they know who the women are.

It's weird that it's private, though. Time was thar everyone took a simple, once in a lifetime cheek swab and then everyone knew what sex they were and it wasn't considered intrusive; nobody hid which category they competed in.

It only becomes a thorny issue when you've got a reason for not wanting people to know the truth, ie because you're lying about it.

Do you think imane khelif is anywhere near as strong as the male elite boxers?

That would be Imane Khelif's problem. Women's boxing isn't a consolation prize for not being able to succeed as an elite men's athlete.

Absolutely. Shades of Emily Bridges again who - IIRC - was not making the cut in elite men's cycling. One transition later and - ta da! - there he is on the top step of winner's podia.

Difference there is that it was recognised that this was wrong and Emily was sent back to the men's classes, much as he wailed all over Instagram that this was an act of genocide (his words, not mine).

Women's sports categories are not a consolation prize for inadequate men.
