A leaked French medical report from 2023 has confirmed that Algerian boxer Imane Khelif is male.

Top endocrinologists found that Khelif has XY chromosomes, no uterus, internal testicles, and a "micropenis."

The report was drafted in June of 2023 via a collaboration between the Kremlin-Bicêtre hospital in Paris, France, and the Mohamed Lamine Debaghine hospital in Algiers, Algeria. Drafted by expert endocrinologists Soumaya Fedala and Jacques Young, the report reveals that Khelif is impacted by 5-alpha reductase deficiency, a disorder of sexual development that is only found in biological males.

Take it up with the Olympics. It's their competition.

Helleofabore · 04/11/2024 15:14

Here is something else that became very apparent in the threads where so many people were declaring that Khelif was a 'cis' woman.

It means that cis was always a meaningless term.

So, based on posts from another thread where a poster assured us that cis women are what we should be talking about when referring to two male boxers who competed in the female category of boxing in the Paris Olympics, I decided that we need as many women who read these threads to understand just what that term means.

The term 'cis' is now meaningless because it also now includes any male person who has a DSD yet has a body that is **formed around the production of small gametes, ie. a male person with a difference of sex development that have testes or testes tissue. Such as Caster Semenya.

Therefore, female people have no unique words that describe just those female people who have a body ^^formed around the production of large gametes.

None.

There is no word left for female people. Because even male people are now saying they are also ‘female’.

Because 'girl' and 'woman' both now include:

1 Male person who has been incorrectly registered as a female at birth, but has a male body **.
2 Any male person has now claimed a transgender identity using those labels.
3 And any person who has a female body ^^.

Under the label of 'girl' and 'woman', extreme transgender activists have been telling us for years that those labels break down into two types of girls or women:

Cis and Transwomen/transgirls.

These terms mean:

Cis = (1) Male person who has been incorrectly registered as a female at birth, but has a male body **

and

= (3) Any person who has a female body^^

Trans = (2) Any male person has now claimed a transgender identity using those labels.

There is no unique word to mean female people who have a body ^^ formed around the production of large gametes.

Cis is now shown to be meaningless and it always was. It is also misogynistic because it leaves female people with no unique word for their needs.
(sorry, the formatting on this post is probably higgly piggly, hopefully the pic helps)

I mean, I do thank those posters who kept admonishing women because Khelif was a 'cis woman', because everytime a poster does that, it really showed the falsity that is this very poor foundation for using such a word.

imane khelif has been allegedly confirmed to be a man.

Given Imane Khelif has lost some matches, there isn't a massive difference in strength between them and the top female boxers. Women boxers will be much stronger than the average women and probably the average man. As I said, women boxers have been killed after being punched by women.

My son sometimes loses a game of arm wrestling against me.

He's still bigger, stronger and could do some serious damage if we had an actual fight.

Namechangeforadhd · 04/11/2024 15:16

In light of the unfeasible ignorance of biology and logic, and with apologies to those for whom this is stating the bleeding obvious:
There are 2 sexes, male and female.
At population level, males are bigger, stronger, faster, with greater bone density, greater reach, larger heart and lung capacity (among other differences).
Females have in some places been given sex-based rights because at population level males are inherently dangerous to females.
There will of course be some female individuals who will be bigger stronger etc than some male individuals.
However, because of the undeniable biological sex differences, females have to have their own category in sports in order to be able to compete on equal terms.
In contact sports, and in particular in boxing this is especially important because it is an issue of safety as well as one of equality.
The fact that Khelif has lost some fights is irrelevant. He is probably not very good, because if he was good, he'd be fighting in the correct sex category - and losing all his fights.
Males need to compete against males. Not all males will be good boxers, and there is no right to be in the Olympics.
These concepts are really not difficult to grasp with just a tiny bit of thought.

I don't imagine the medal will be stripped, as private medical info shouldn't have been leaked so it won't be considered legitimate.

They won't strip the medal, not because it was leaked, but because they already knew he was male and let him compete anyway, as their rules welcome any man to beat up women if their passport says 'female'.

OuterSpaceCadet · 04/11/2024 15:18

user1471500282 · 04/11/2024 13:51

It’s disgusting that this person has complete randomers discussing such intimate details of their body like this. Aside from sports or medals, they deserve not to have this information out there so that User1234 from Nowhereville can smugly announce it online. Human decency seems totally lacking.

The anger should be directed at the IOC, sure. But I don't blame women.

There will always be individual men happy to hurt women and many will have compelling back stories.

Men's dominance over us is both physical and structural. We, sadly, need the support of unbiased institutions in order to achieve anything close to equality in public life.

When powerful institutions collude with and support these men, gaslighting women as they go, women are put in an impossible situation. We're judged for taking matters into our own hands, we're judged for accepting help from the wrong institutions, we're judged for sharing information. But what the fuck else can women do?

Ironic how women's decorum is so often levelled against them in cases like this. Women refusing to take men's shit....is just too gender non conforming?

Helleofabore · 04/11/2024 15:19

FlirtsWithRhinos · 04/11/2024 14:55

Khelif gave up the right to privacy about his sex when he chose to compete in women's sports. He had ample opportunities between learning of his physical sex and competing when he could have retreated with his dignity intact, but he chose to double down and go forward with punching women knowing he had no right to be in their competition.

Fuck around, get found out.

He does not deserve your sympathy.

Whatever sympathy he might have deserved at being diagnosed late in life was more than burned to the ground when, following these results, he knowingly chose to continue competing as "a woman" despite not being one. Not only that but he and his team also lauched media attacks against people who were in fact correctly identifying his sex. Although he's gone very quiet about that law suit he threatened JKR with, hasn't he?

Don't you think his victims, those in the ring and outside in culture, are more deserving of your sympathy? Why do you feel worse for a man who knowingly deceived than the people he cheated and attacked?

This is just it though.

A male person, who was told that they were no longer qualified to compete in the female category by two boxing federations in 2023, who has had other tests done since and has been undergoing reduction of testosterone, competed in the Olympics because they knew the Olympics allowed them to compete. There was not one shred of respect extended towards female people at all.

Yet, people are declaring that women should STFU about this information? No. the moment this male boxer threw the first punch at a female competitor after knowing that they were male, I consider this male boxer lost that right to privacy.

murasaki · 04/11/2024 15:21

There were a lot of financial opportunities taken from the women. It's not just the medal, but what it brings with it. For example, the brilliant Philippino gymnast who won their first ever gold medal ever got a house from the government, amongst other things. The women who this man brutally beat have missed out on a lot.

Bigcat25 · 04/11/2024 15:23

MagpiePi · 04/11/2024 15:04

Would you also class the results of tests for doping in sports to be private medical information? Or does only some biological cheating count?

What I think doesn't really matter. If official policies over how medical info is governed aren't complied with, it likely won't make a difference. As others said, the IOC was accepting passports as proof of gender so this new info probably won't make a difference.

CowboyJoanna · 04/11/2024 15:25

So he's not a hermaphrodite. He's a full on TIM.

RobinEllacotStrike · 04/11/2024 15:25

If only the IOC had a way to determine which athletes were male and which were female?

If only the IOC gave a damn about which athletes were male and which were female?

Then again this issue only really affects womens sports and the IOC are notorious misogynists so protecting the female sports catagory doesn't concern them. Have a read of Sharron Davis's book for more information on that.

if you want more info on Kalif's DSD Emma Hilton has done a great and very detailed X thread about it

Guess that libel investigation again Elon and JKR is dead in the water now, given that to libel someone what you say has to be untrue and this report, regardless of having been leaked, is in the public domain and proves that he is a biological male? Not that either of them spent a penny on legal advice or lost a second’s sleep over this, but there may be celebratory cocktail and a raucous cackle over this tonight.

SidewaysOtter · 04/11/2024 15:25

Ereshkigalangcleg · 04/11/2024 14:46

There are still people falling over themselves to defend this?

They're all in on their ideology.

Sunk cost fallacy, innit?

I do agree with the poster above who says they have some sympathy for those like IK who find themselves going through the "wrong" puberty which affects their entire sense of self.

But my sympathy runs out when it comes to knowingly competing as a man against women, with a colossal unfair advantage and pushing women out of sport when the bar for women's participation is already so much higher (e.g. culturally where it's not deemed "ladylike", or that women's sports don't get the same level of funding etc. etc.)

I wouldn't want any prize I hadn't won fair and square but the likes of IK don't seem to give a shit.

heathspeedwell · 04/11/2024 15:28

The IOC knew for a fact that Caster Semenya was a man with 5 ARD before the Rio Olympics and still gave him medals.

They have taken an ideological position that biological sex is less important than how someone identifies.

If anyone can explain why they think this ideology is kind or progressive, please let me know.

My personal view is that it's monstrous to allow men to beat women up in the boxing ring and call it 'sport'.

Helleofabore · 04/11/2024 15:28

So where are we now?

We have two tests from different independent labs in different countries producing results saying that these athletes have XY chromosomes as per Dr. Ioannis Filippatos (Surgeon, Sport Medicine Doctor, and Ob/Gyn Specialist). Confirmed by IBA, WBO and EBC.

We have the French endocrinologist saying “ despite of her karyotype and her testosterone levels. He said : “There is a problem with her hormones, and with her chromosomes, but she's a woman.”

In fact, we have someone reporting on the results of those tests from Paris now as per below.

And then we have an Algeria doctor who monitored the testosterone suppression. “We then worked with an Algeria-based doctor to control and regulate Imane's testosterone levels, which are currently in the female range.

NO FEMALE PERSON HAS TO REDUCE THEIR TESTOSTERONE (AS PER THE POST UPTHREAD) TO COMPETE AGAINST FEMALE PEOPLE. The very fact that Khelif's team is reporting this telling the world that Khelif was MALE!

The Paris tests:

https://archive.ph/sPWL9

The Correspondent has poked his nose into the boxer's medical file - the same file that the Algerian Boxing Federation and Imane Khelif are keeping safe. It comes from the tightly closed drawers of two renowned hospitals: the Kremlin Bicêtre hospital in Paris and the Mohamed Lamine Debaghine hospital in Algiers. Where the champion is followed by the crème de la crème of endocrinology: Professors and heads of department, Soumaya Fedala and Jacques Young.

In their report, submitted in June 2023, the two doctors, Young and Fedala, point out, without beating around the bush, Imane Khelif's pathology, an “Alpha 5 reductase type 2” deficiency, a genetic anomaly which leads to metabolic dysfunction in testosterone and dehydroandrosterone”.

and

Results? The “pelvic MRI” shows “ an absence of a uterus” , the presence of “gonads in the inguinal canals” ( testicles in her abdomen, editor’s note) , “a blind vagina” and a micro-penis in the form of “clitoral hypertrophy ”.

Array Comparative Genomic Hybridization (aCGH) analyses show that she carries the “46XY” karyotype… and confirms “the male formula”, without highlighting “ a significant genomic imbalance”.

The “ hormonal exploration ” reveals a “male type testosterone level of 14.7”, while the female gender does not exceed the maximum level of 3.

In short, Imane Khelif is a man in a woman's shell. Or a woman in a man's shell. In any case, not a "normal" girl...

So, how long will sporting bodies, and the general public, continue to deny that Khelif is a male athlete and has been known to be a male athlete since 2023 at the very latest? Most likely well before then.

Or is this just going to be another Semenya cycle where people simply keep repeating the misinformation of "Semenya is a woman with high testosterone"?

MumblesParty · 04/11/2024 15:30

WetBandits · 04/11/2024 13:30

I still don’t agree with the witch hunt. If Khelif reasonably believed themselves to be female and had been brought up as female since birth without knowing about the chromosomal disorder, they were not acting as a man boxing against women. Intent counts here, I think.

If they knew and still competed, that is a different story.

Edited

How do you think you’d get through life having no periods, and having a small penis, and not realise you were a man?!

Olympic boxing trainer Rafa Lozano has said this about a training camp
"We put [Khelif] with Jennifer Fernandez and it hurt her. Whoever we put [Khelif] with was injured.”

Lozano said that to avoid further injury to the women, the coaches eventually paired Khelif with Jose Quiles, one of Spain’s top male boxers."

That is horrifying. You cannot tell me that no-one around him thought he was actually a woman based on this information alone. The whole lot are just fucking cheating men 😡

HerGorgeousMajestyArabellaScott · 04/11/2024 15:31

Man Punches Women in Face. Awarded Gold Medal. Women who Object Labelled Bigots.

I have no sympathy for Khelif. A micropenis is not an excuse.

From another thread:

'Did you know that male boxers don't wear helmets because their punching power is so great that the risk of a broken neck (torsion injury from catching on the helmet) greatly outweighs that of a fractured skull?
Now, women have much thinner skulls, so they do wear helmets. Lucky they don't risk a broken neck from being punched by men, isn't it?'

He could have killed a woman. He doesn't care.

All boxers competing in women's boxing beat women up. Some are killed. Strange how people aren't so worked up about that on MN. Apparently it is not a problem if the person throwing the punch has an XX chromosome.

Sorry, only just seeing this now. Women boxers have consented to fight other women. Not men. I hope this clarification helps.
