Can you tell us whether you will continue to disbelieve the evidence trail unless Khelif releases the information specifically? It's not based on "social media hearsay". There were multiple reports, including outside the Russian boxing federation (and even they, according to a respected US sports journalist, showed him two separate reports from independent labs. The "Russians doing it because of their own fighters" theory has long been debunked you know). There's also the interview with Khelif's own trainer which states he has a male karyotype.

The whole thing could, of course, be cleared up VERY simply with a cheek swab. Which Khelif won't take because he knows damn well it will show he is male. He has, as suspected and as is the case with Caster Semanya, DSD 5-ARD.

They even say themselves it's unclear whether IK has XY chromosomes. Which is debatable anyway, but taking that claim at highest, it can't be a fact that it's incorrect to refer to IK as a man. It would be unknown. They also refer to the 2023 test as a gender eligibility test, which isn't what it actually is because how would a physical test measure gender? Sex and gender are different things.

Really, if you're going to claim that an organisation has a vested interest because it's got a Russian on it, you need to be less uncritical in the bias you swallow from articles.

Sport historically has provided poorer boys and girls, young men and women with an opportunity to get education, a career and a better life. Boxing in particular has done this historically but with the scholarships and sponsorship available its no wonder that youngsters train and work their socks off for that golden ticket to a better life.
