Vibrators on sale at Tesco, thought it was a bit much

Went to buy some toothpaste with my kids, 7 year old wants to see new toy in plastic boxes, it’s rows and rows of vibrators. Is it just me or is this a bit much for the weekly shop?

I think the OP is from Tesco HO and is hoping to get us all down to our local store to boost their sales. Maybe sales have 'flopped'.

I guess if I could pick I’d probably put condoms behind the pharmacy counter too, I get that people may want to buy these items it’s just that as a parent I want to choose when my kids hear about these things rather than just get exposed to them.

That’d most likely just increase the risks of unwanted pregnancies, especially in younger girls as they might be too embarrassed to go and ask for condoms behind the counter, I know a lot of my friends when I was a teenager would have been too embarrassed to go and ask and just risked it.
