To think pooing in the shower is disgusting

According to my DD who read an article somewhere, over 1 in 10 people poo in the shower! Can this actually be true? Aside from being disgusted by this, I am intrigued as to what happens to it afterwards. Surely it would take a lot of effect to get it down the plug hole? 🤣

I was once staying in a boat marina with communal showers and one day received an enraged email from the managers to all residents to the effect that someone had shat all over one of the showers and left it for someone to clean up. I’m assuming that was a one off however and not that 1 in every 10 of us was doing it!

DS tells me that someone in his workplace regularly shits on the toilet seat in the women’s toilet. There are only a few people in their office so it’s a mystery apparently…

It's a thing. Apparently its called 'waffle stomping'! Absolutely disgusting.

Not the point of the thread I know, but can we please spare a thought for the person whose job it was to stop people in the street to ask this question?

I joke, of course. But seriously, as others have said, if ever there was a statistic that wasn't to be trusted, this is it. Even if the data was collected online, I can't think of what circumstances would make this an appropriate question to ask, and even if it were, you couldn't rely on people to tell the truth.
