According to my DD who read an article somewhere, over 1 in 10 people poo in the shower! Can this actually be true? Aside from being disgusted by this, I am intrigued as to what happens to it afterwards. Surely it would take a lot of effect to get it down the plug hole? 🤣

My neighbour told me her partner did it and used his toes to poke it down. Complete boke. One of those situations you find yourself chatting over a lager and then someone gets drunk and rather honest. Too honest. Every time you see them your brain thinks and that person pokes shit down the shower drain.
This isn't shower related but it reminds me of when in France on holiday someone shat in the pool and the staff went absolutely mental, there may as well have been air raid sirens. It's good they were on it but they looked manic. We were screamed at to leave the pool and they had a special net on a long pole. Bleach sprays at the ready and hoses. Quite magnificent how they handled the situation.
In the UK how long would it take for staff to realise 🤔? In Greece there was a massive log on the beach which I stepped over in time. It was very long. I hate poo.

Haha this is very funny. I agree, poo really is awful stuff. I'm genuinely shocked that anybody shits in the shower but clearly lots do?!

The showers on the office floor had to be closed down as someone/people kept shitting on the floors. It's absolutely disgusting. It was deemed too sensitive to approach the people doing it for HR reasons, so they were just closed. Vile.

I wasn’t involved in the student side of things, only the campus services side (who managed the cleaners) so I don’t know what was done about the students. It would have been reported to the Hall management. I doubt whether they were evicted from the halls, it’s not easy for to evict students, and it’s even less likely they were thrown off the course- course staff are not very interested in students’ bad behaviour outside the teaching day.
It was more than one student too. I wouldn’t say it was common but it’s something that happens, this wasn’t a one-off.

Well that must be fifty percent of men then because how would women actually get their genitalia into the sink. Plenty of ( short or under-endowed) men would struggle too.

It would surely take more effort to get rid of it than it would to pop in and out of the shower to the toilet. Not to mention the stench and the sloshing over your feet! It just makes no sense in your own home.

I can believe people do it in public showers for the same reason people smear shit all over the walls - because they are disgusting and they know someone else has to clean it up.

Peeing in the shower yes. At school we did it l (I know - sounds horrible now!) because it was a way of peeing standing up without worrying about our legs getting wet.
But no woman would do more.

There’s a scene in the comedy show Superstore where one of the team mentions about them pooing in the shower like they considered it normal and everyone is disgusted, thus implying that normal people don’t do that kind of shit. 1 in ten seems crazy high.
