Actually it’s an opinion based on a desire to eliminate gender based oppression. It benefits everyone, especially women.

How does it eliminate "gender based oppression" when overwhelmingly most of this oppression is from males to females. "Trans women" are in the former category and women are the latter.

In my dc school, the only person allowed to tell the truth, was a severely autistic boy with massive behavioural difficulties - he licked windows, ate with his hands, but oh, boy, did he tell the truth? We loved him for it - he would shout loudly, oy, this woman is not a woman, this woman is a man! He would shout as well - no, you are lying to us, you can't have two dads and two mums, this is not true! You are lying to us - he shouted at the teachers in sex ed. And our little children? They leant how to lie, how to keep quiet and pretend that the world, which has gone mad, is perfectly normal.

@Opentooffers what about when a patient has vomited on you or other bodily fluids? Are you supposed to stay in the same uniform all day and then wear it home to wash?

This was not really well thought out by this person.

Also, it is very very difficult for even a very skilled surgeon to make breast tissue sit matching female skeletal/chest cavity/breast proportions. It is things like the distance between the breasts, the position of the height where they sit on the chest etc.

But this things are dismissed in the need to convince others that male people lose their male body cues at any stage of transition after a particular age. And research is still coming through that even blocked puberty cannot change all, maybe even enough, cues when female people see male people in real life and interact with them.

Just to add that someone posted a pic of a headline which wrongly suggested that Dolatowski raped a 10 yr old. It was an attempted rape. Horrendous, but the little girl got away by punching Dolatowski in the balls.

Let's eliminate gender, and sex based oppression.

If we eliminate gender then we can be back where we started. People, around half of whom are male and half of whom are female. No silly regressive expectations about how they should dress or behave.

If we eliminate sex based oppression, then and only then we can have a discussion about whether we still need single sex spaces.

You started the thread demanding people answer your questions while stating that you refused to answer anyone else's. You've received (understandable) pushback from women who care about the safety of women and girls, and now, of course, you turn round and pretend you're a victim.

We'll fight about it for as long as it takes. Until society accepts that women have the right to say no to men. Even poor vulnerable ones who really do believe they are living as women.

Removing single sex spaces by allowing male people to access them, and removing the language that female people need to describe their own needs, and even censuring women for pointing out that a male person remains a male person - none of these eliminate gender based oppression. It does allow new oppression of female people to occur though.
