There is zero evidence that transwomen are unsafe in male facilities.

That of course is what women and girls world wide are being told by trans extremists. That their privacy, dignity and safety don't matter.

So therefore it’s ok for women like you to equally tell trans people that their privacy, dignity and safety doesn’t matter?

That's not what most of us are doing, we're just saying it doesn't matter MORE than ours, and they shouldn't be able to trample over our rights to take their own!

RedToothBrush · 25/09/2024 11:35

CrochetForLife · 25/09/2024 11:30

Then why are you defending mens preferences, specifically men that get their cock out in front of women and girls?

What is wrong with you?

You know, a male getting his cock out in front of women used to be a crime called Indecent Exposure. Only a sexual predator, which is what this man is, gets his cock out in front of women and girls, and while talking to them out his sex life.

Do you even understand what this is about? A male sexual predator exposing himself to women?

It still is a crime.

Its just the law isn't being enforced as it should be if a man uses the magic cloak of calling themselves a woman.

TheEyesOfLucyJordon · 25/09/2024 11:35

PiggleToes · 25/09/2024 11:08

Because if you prioritise the women and girls you are protecting a hundred people and if you prioritise the trans woman you are protecting one person.

So their safety and dignity isn’t as important as other people because they are a minority group?

they can fucking lump it

So their safety and dignity doesn’t matter to you after all? They can just “fucking lump it”?

Everyone's safety and dignity matters.

Can you explain what specifically about a male changing facility makes it unsafe for a transwoman to use?

PiggleToes · 25/09/2024 11:36

GailBlancheViola · 25/09/2024 11:33

So you can’t think of any reasons at all why requiring trans women to change in men’s facilities , or using third spaces, might compromise their dignity and safety?

No, clearly not as there aren't any.

Thank you for clarifying that this is your position.

Why do you think them using a third space would compromise their safety and dignity? If that's not a question you can answer, then there's no hope of anyone trying to discuss the issue with you.

Can you please explain to us WHY you can think of any reason why requiring a male with COCK AND BALLS to change in the......male facilities, compromises his safety?

He is a post-pubescent male with a cock and a nutsack. HOW is he at threat in a .......MALE changeroom?

Explain that?

TealTraybake · 24/09/2024 17:53

A simple solution is to have male and female changing rooms. I’ve heard that before somewhere. Sounds radical but apparently it works. If need be a third unisex space. Revolutionary stuff.

Yes.

I read the archived article and it sounds unsatisfactory if the door cannot be locked as belongings are left in there.

However the article does say, "....if a male identifying as a female wanted to access it, they could", not that anyone actually does at the moment.

(Gets crayons.)

I'm gonna spell it out for you using small words.

Both women and trans women's safety and dignity should be respected.

What women need for their safety and dignity to be respected is for there not to be any male people, however they might identify, in their changing rooms.

What trans women need for their safety and dignity to be respected is ___.

You can fill in the blank using any words other than words which mean "to use the women's changing rooms".

Leniriefenstahl · 25/09/2024 09:49

Agree largely with what you say but what happens to a 24 year old transwoman on hormone blockers who looks very much female ? Like or not you’ll have shared a female space with one unknowingly, I’m sure and not been sexually assaulted. Not all transwomen are hairy 50 year old men with a bad wig and a short dress.

I know this is way back in the thread, but wanted to address this ‘gotcha’.

like it or not I will have inadvertently paid more in shops because some people shoplift, I will have paid more in insurance because some people drive illegally etc etc
yes we will all be unwitting victims to unobserved crimes.

people who say, eg how are you going to police single sex spaces? Look in everyone’s pants? Is like saying how are you going to make sure people don’t shoplift? Allocate everyone a personal security guard?

no, of course it’s not possible. We rely on most people being fairly law abiding and respectful of others, and appropriate intervention for those that don’t when/if we become aware of a crime or breach of boundaries.

Yes, you basically said because it would be outing them as trans, which might make them unsafe, but many women feel unsafe with males in their facilities, and you don't seem to care about that, so...

CrochetForLife · 25/09/2024 11:40

@PiggleToes Can you please explain why a male with a cock and balls is 'at risk' in a male facility?

And why you think males should have the right to expose their male genitals to women and girls, many of us rape survivors and sexual assault/DV survivors?

At least have the basic human decency to answer this question.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 25/09/2024 11:40

So you can’t think of any reasons at all why requiring trans women to change in men’s facilities , or using third spaces, might compromise their dignity and safety?

No. They are not women. Spaces for women only need to be women only. A third space is extremely reasonable, but really I'm not sure why their wish to not use a space with men would trump mine?

What about the transpeople I know who transitioned decades ago still use the male facilities and despair at what modern trans activism has become? They'd absolutely agree with what the majority of the posters here are saying.

You're the one that's upending the social contract - wedging men, including predatory men - into spaces where girls & women are undressed & vulnerable. Spaces that have historically been established because of the threat that so many men are to girls and women.

Why do you have such a problem with respecting the rights of women and girls to say no?

Why are you do determined that girls and women should be subject to criminal offences such as indecent exposure and voyeurism?

Why have you not bothered about the extreme levels of VAWG?

How would it be enforced?

There are trans people who openly say they would not use them and would continue to use women's spaces, such as India Willoughby for example.

Apart from banning trans people what is the solution then ?

I think that's largely the point. They can fill that blank with what they like, as long as it isn't "use women's facilities". It's not our fault if they can't.

So no answer why a male with male genitals is 'unsafe' in a male change room?

Fleeing? Such a cliche. When you can't answer, flee. They NEVER answer, just run.
