Meh, it's chlorinated isn't it? You must not realise how disgusting humans are. Dogs are unlikely to go to the toilet in a pool, but we can't say the same for people.

I adore them, but the muck that comes off their paws after a walk is something to behold.
Also heated water, so bacteria soup? Are they lab testing the water after these events? No pun intended.

I am a huge animal lover and previously worked with them, but this is not nice.

It looks like they are not running normal sessions...only dog ones.

I assume then it's a little way of keeping it popular, in possibly an otherwise quiet month.

As its only dogs, I presume it coincides with a drain and/or big scrub at the end of the month.

I'm not thrilled with the idea of swimming in a pool alongside multiple dogs, or getting into one after hundreds across a weekend has got in. But if it's been completely cleaned ready for when they reopen for humans, it can't be any dirtier that whatever anyone else has got in.

I'm a dog owner and a swimmer. I wouldn't like this at all.

You’re swimming in water which has literally cleaned the arsehole of every single person that’s used it, a few dogs aren’t going to make much difference.

How are so many so sure that dogs won't wee in the pool? It's not like you can ask them...

They only do it after end of the season for human swimmers and they drain and refill the pool afterwards.

Ewwwww. That's a no from me. Love dogs, but yeah having hosed them off regularly after walks and seen the amount of crap they hold, not too mention that humans do mostly usually wipe their bums and I've seen dog with dangleberries... Not to also mention the sheet quantity of loose fur on some dogs, I'm amazed the filters don't die regularly, I know my hoover put in regular complaints!!

It's normally all end of season swims, so pool is emptied afterwards and cleaned before the start of the season next year.
