Teacher bought an ex students only fans?

My friend has an x rated members website and has just told me that our old science teacher from secondary school has bought it! The same teacher that there were always dodgy rumours about him being a creep.

Is this worth mentioning to the school or is that over dramatic? It's really weird but she's 22 now and hasn't been at the school for 4 years.
Thoughts?

I sort of think she could get in trouble due to data protection? Ultimately I don’t think he is (technically) doing anything wrong. Morally yes it’s pretty disgusting that he is presumably wanking over an attractive former student.

There remains an imbalance of power though. In a teacher with safeguarding responsibility and I would want to know. Does the man pose a risk to current students is the question? I would argue possibly.

Our science teacher married a girl in the year above me in school! He’s 7 years older than her. They got together when she was 23 and came back to our hometown after uni to work in the local primary. They had mutual friends and the rest, as they say, is history.

Only Fans is a bit seedier, but she’s an adult now and they could have a full on relationship if they want to.

He's not breaking a law, as horrible as it must feel. She's doing an x rated site and one of her paying customers happens to be a teacher she knows. He's not a vicar or anything. Once you're on Only Fans you don't get to just choose the nice ones with respectable jobs. I wouldn't report to the school.

Any number of her fans could be teachers, doctors, nurses, childcare workers, carers. It’s creepy. But not illegal. I’m not aware of any rules that prohibit teachers from watching adult porn

While this is definitely distasteful behaviour, I’m not sure why you’re going to report it to the school? He’s an adult, she’s an adult, they’re no longer pupil and teacher, this is going on outside work,
is all legal, and presumably has no impact on his work. He’s a teacher, not a monk.

Also, is your friend supposed to give out the personal details of people who subscribe, who presumably provide them in confidence?

Are you absolutely sure he recognised her? Has she used her real name? If she hasn't he could easily not actually know she used to be his student... I mean he will have had hundreds won't he? You tend to remember your teachers don't you as you don't have many... but for a teacher to remember every single student they taught years later.. to the extent they could recognise them even if they used a fake name... that would be more challenging

Wanking over images/videos that an adult has made for that purpose is not criminal. It may very well be creepy and gross, but seriously, what kind of men does she think wank over her content? Lovely ones? No. Creepy ones? Yes.

There‘s also no indication that he is any sort of paedophile. She is an adult, so it’s presumably adult women that excite him, not children.

Might be the least of her problems but OP and others are concerned about the problems this “fan” might have caused for other people, especially children at his school.

Dumb question but is it obvious it's her? I assume she doesn't go by her real name. He probably recognizes her but with makeup/hair color and cut is it possible she looks quite different?
