I think its reasonable to be scared in general, even if this specific thing isn't going to happen.

It's not the "done thing" on here to say, but the reality is, a lot of terrible things are being done (especially to women) in out own neighbourhoods and young people are angry and primed for radicalization.

I am personally very scared when I look at how things are and where they are going.
Radical religion is never a good thing and it feels like that is what is growing, rather than reasonable people with their own personal faith.

I truly believe a lot of young men are looking for excuses to be violent towards women and they are feeling hard done by...
The incel culture is on the rise and a lot of their "values" align with extremists.

We are looking at a disease being spread and no one cares or our governments are too scared of being called racist to try and put measures in place to help.

I'm sure I will get hate for saying this, but we have all also seen what happens when those sorts of values are left to run free... both in the Catholic Church and in certain parts of the UK.

24'000 are members of a Muslim extremist group, which has staged the protest and supportis growing. My (Christian) Nigerian friends, here in the UK are having family and friends murdered daily, land is being stolen and girls kidnapped, by Muslim groups. They don't understand why this is just ignored. There's been calls in London for Imans to call out extremism, it's a worry that it has to be asked of them and isn't just being done. All of the recent acid etc attacks on women, have been done men who should have been deported. We can't continue to ignore what is described as extremism.

In a democracy the right to peaceful protest is important and if some tiny fraction of the population want something (even something that would end democracy) they can hold a demonstration (which should be controlled and dispelled if it gets violent).

Such protests whether peaceful or violent have no power to change the rule of law and democracy.

The population of Germany is over 80 million. There were barely more than a thousand protesters. That's barely one thousandth of 1% of the population.

Freedom includes the freedom to hold an unpopular minority view and to express it. It's unreasonable to be "scared" by public declarations of such views - that way lies hatred and oppression of any deviation from the norm - that is fascism. I would be more concerned about news of a protest being suppressed and banned. If you hear of a protest expressing a point of view you disagree with then check how widespread the opposing view is. There is absolutely zero danger of this idea gaining any significant level of support or power.

YANBU to be worried. Islamic extremism is a huge threat to the whole world and people seem to be turning a blind eye just to make themselves seem accepting/virtue signalling.
