Should I buy a bright pink velvet sofa

I’ve been divorced two years out of a pretty abusive relationship and finally got my own home again. Hooray! I have seen a beautiful bright pink velvet sofa but don’t know if I should buy it! I do want to meet my forever man so is it foolish buying such a girly colour? Maybe I should just go for another bright colour that isn’t pink
Am I massively overthinking this?!

Yes! I almost had DH agreed to a raspberry velvet sofa but we got samples of the fabric sent and it's more claret than pink in real life, which I didn't like as much. We're ordering emerald green instead!

Me, I also want a peacock velvet sofa. What I've actually got is the MN-despised silver crushed velvet sofa because it was cheap. And is now covered in peacock velvet throws 😆 If you're in a position to get YOUR sofa for YOU, for god's sake get it!
