Do you shower/bath everyday

Just that really, do you shower/bath daily as an adult that (not ill or has health conditions)

I am asking this as another thread, made me curious.

YIBU- I don't shower everyday, there is no need.
YANBU- I shower everyday as I like to be clean.

Why, what horrors do you think will befall you if you only shower once a day?

Twice a day. As other posters, I'll have a shower after exercise, which I would do in the morning. I might exercise again early evening, so I'll shower/bath then. If not, I'd still shower/bath before bed. I can't get into bed without washing, both to remove actual sweat/dirt but also the act of showering or having a bath helps me sleep. Morning shower is literally 2-3 minutes, so it's not a big deal

I shower in the morning to feel fresh and clean after working all day I shower to feel fresh and clean ….have you asked this question to everyone else who showers twice a day or are you singling me out

Well you're the one going "ewww" and saying you "have to" shower twice a day.

I'm curious what awful things will happen if you don't.

No when:
I’ve not worked a sweat
I’m working from home

This translates to around 5 showers a week. When I don’t shower, I (obviously) do a stand-up flannel wash in the morning before cleaning my teeth.
I always wear clean underwear though…

Nothing awful will happen I suffer OCD too but really don’t know why I’m explaining myself ..ok I suffer OCD that’s me I need to feel clean I have issues with not feeling clean ..have I explained myself enough now ??

Twice a day when I was nursing. Now once a day, sometimes later on in the day if I am going to a dusty car boot sale or a sweaty jumble sale, to get the muck off. 😂

Have you also asked other ppl why they shower twice a day I’m curious to know maybe other ppl have issues to

I wash my armpits every day, but I I just don't see a need to have a full body shower every single day. It's so wasteful (of my time, as well as of water and gas).

I'm just about to have my fifth shower of the day with a clean towel for hair, one for each arm, one for each leg, one for back, one for front, two disposable ones for front bum and back bum (so gross to use a normal one) one for each foot and a whole set of clean clothing for after.
Anyone who doesn't do the same as me is fucking disgusting and grim and vile...

I tend to shower daily. I don't wash my hair everyday. I, also use the bidet a couple of times if I am at home.

I have a poo in the morning,wipe thoroughly then have a shower and wash my bum then. I don’t shower for the rest of the day unless I have exercised. What’s wrong with that?

There is nothing wrong with that ..everyone to there own my comments ate how I feel maybe ott but that is probably to do with issues that I have

I've stopped as it's unnecessary. Stopped washing my hair and it's never looked so good

Nope. I'm fairly sedentary, so don't get sweaty that often. I live alone, so I'm not exchanging body fluids* with anyone, and I shower before bed. Was different when I was going to work, then I'd be in the shower as soon as I got home, every day.

*unless you count when my cats wash my chin

Every other day usually throughout the majority of the year. Daily in hot weather.
