Did you go to school with someone famous?

How did they act? Do you think the fame affected them?

Not that she is particularly famous but is discussed a lot on some boards here, I went to school with the (hopefully not much longer) MP Miriam Cates.

I went to school with a lass who came 4th in Pop Idol, she was in sixth form and we all got filmed for one of the live show VTs. She was lovely actually as far as I remember.

The actor Kieron Obrien . Saw him most recently in Ted lasso . He was in a kids programme called Gruey when we was at school . He was a nice lad .

He was in everything at one point ,you dont see him in much now .

Yes , Greg Davies , couple of years above me .Seen him since , really lovely chap and very funny and tall .

We had a supply teacher who we were told was also an actor. He did supply work when he was “resting”. This teacher was a bit “cool for school” and very often didn’t teach the subject he was supposed to be covering. Instead, he’d teach us something completely different or tell us funny stories. He was good company.

I looked him up recently and found out he’s since been in several films, a couple of soaps and Game of Thrones, amongst other things. I’ve seen him in at least three shows but didn’t recognise him! I must have just thought, “I’ve seen him in something before”. Yeah, in our maths classroom, telling us a gruesome story involving tapeworms.
