How hideous are these trainers really, in your opinion?

My partner isn't normally the least bit concerned about what I wear but really truly despises these trainers, will ask me not to wear them, says they're hideous!🤣
I don't think they're so bad? I'm not really someone who wears trainers unless I'm at the gym but I do occasionally put these on to just nip to the shop or such. DP is seriously offended by them!

They're just trainers. Not a colour I'd pick myself, but I'd nip to the shop or whatever in them.

My DH is not keen on trainers, except for sport or for proper walking.

I think they're fine, but my boyfriend hates all my trainers, all my boots, and about 50% of my shoes because I dress like a tradie apparently

I don't know why DP would be offended by them, they're fine. Does he usually make a fuss over nothing? Maybe write 'fuck off DP' on the soles then he has a good reason to feel offended.

If you like them, wear them! I'd probably make a point of wearing them more if I was asked by my husband not to wear them. Actually I'd think it was pretty crazy of him to
have such a strong option over a pair of shoes.
Wear what you like and (as long as it's not actually offensive - ie racist / sexist etc...) don't worry about what anyone else thinks.

The colours aren't great, but most technical trainers are hideous. Mr Monkey wears some fancy trendy ones that look like the Stay-Puft Marshmallow man from Ghostbusters.

The trainer, sock and trouser combo are a bit… much.
