How hideous are these trainers really, in your opinion?

My partner isn't normally the least bit concerned about what I wear but really truly despises these trainers, will ask me not to wear them, says they're hideous!🤣
I don't think they're so bad? I'm not really someone who wears trainers unless I'm at the gym but I do occasionally put these on to just nip to the shop or such. DP is seriously offended by them!

No not a joke post at all! I know It's a trivial issue but DP gets so militant about this particular item of clothing so I wanted opinions.
I think that carpet was pretty manky! But it is getting ripped up soon so we didn't bother cleaning it.
My 'good' trainers are kept clean, but I didn't see the point in cleaning them just to traipse about sorting junk out of a house. Ive cleaned them now as I went to the gym inthem yesterday.
I just cannot see the 'bacon' thing at all but fair enough! I do like quite bright, garish things. Good point on the socks at least they match 😂

If he isnt keen on trainers apart from sport or proper walking. Just out of interest - What does he wear to just nip to the shops/wander round/ take kids to school etc?

I’ve voted uabu because I think they are ugly BUT I also wouldn’t care enough if I saw someone wearing them. If you like them and they are comfortable who cares!!!

I've seen worse. They are OK. Keep wearing them
