How hideous are these trainers really, in your opinion?

My partner isn't normally the least bit concerned about what I wear but really truly despises these trainers, will ask me not to wear them, says they're hideous!🤣
I don't think they're so bad? I'm not really someone who wears trainers unless I'm at the gym but I do occasionally put these on to just nip to the shop or such. DP is seriously offended by them!

1. the trainers are filthy and scruffy, clean they might be ok

2. trainers and skinny pants/jeans - just no

3. brown with black - again, just no

4. trainers with pleather trousers? Absolutely definitely not.

Yes I agree with him they are hideous. Fit for taking the bins out and nothing else 😂

They maybe wldnt look as bad with black socks and black plain (non shiney) leggings. The stripey socks and trousers are making them even more out of place! The trousers look quite dressy and probably lovely with a nice pair of black boots or shoes but not those trainers!

Dirty red trainers, blue socks and those trousers really don't work well together at all.

Yes I'd never wear them for anything other than casually but I don't usually anyway. I like quite gaudy, bright things.

I'm intrigued about them not going with the trousers as they're black? But must be the style. I'd usually wear these trousers with heels to go out somewhere in fairness I just thew them on this morning.

Also, you ask 'what's wrong with the trousers?' Really?! 😆 Dude, they're leather (or fake leather/plastic!) Are you Suzi Quatro or Chrissie Hynde? (Under 50s google them!) If you're not Suzi or Chrissie, ditch the trousers!

They're even worse from the side.

They aren't to my taste, but they aren't "dear god what is that lady wearing" territory. I wouldn't wear them but I also probably wouldn't even notice them on someone else. If you like them I think you can wear them

Could do with a clean. Generally think trainers and leggings should only be seen at the gym though.

I think a spin in the washing machine would sort them out. They could look good with denim shorts in the summer.

(The trousers definitely clash. It’s two different styles - smart clubbing legs with muddy trainers. And the black is too harsh for the shoes.)

Out for a walk and home again they are alright. Out for anything else and they aren’t the best OP - they don’t go with the trouser and sock combo.

They need a wash, but I can't see anything wrong with them. For something casual like trainers, I think bright colours are a plus.
