How hideous are these trainers really, in your opinion?

My partner isn't normally the least bit concerned about what I wear but really truly despises these trainers, will ask me not to wear them, says they're hideous!🤣
I don't think they're so bad? I'm not really someone who wears trainers unless I'm at the gym but I do occasionally put these on to just nip to the shop or such. DP is seriously offended by them!

Is this a joke post, OP? Why are you apologising for a ‘dirty carpet’ that doesn’t look dirty, meanwhile the trainers are very grubby? Are you trying to be ironic in some way? That, as well as the fact PP’s are saying the trainers have done the rounds online before is making me think it’s supposed to be a piss take thread?

Either way, the (original) colour of the trainers is horrible in my opinion, and I wouldn’t want to be seen dead in them.

Well the carpet is pretty manky. Not as bad as the trainers but definitely needs a good shampoo!

The carpet isnt manky at all and you cannot tell from that small snapshot if it needs a shampoo, it just hasnt been hoovered, are you for real?

They're not great & the trousers, socks & trainers all clash. They need a good wash if you're going to carry on wearing them.

Yes it is clean compared to the trainers and I have also said this. But it is still grimy and could do with a good shampoo. I am not sure what else to say about it.

Nothing wrong with them imo - i rather like the colour! The socks and/or trousers was not part of what OP asked so no comment there - the kicks are perfectly fine though

I like them. However, I say that with the caveat that I own about 15 pairs of trainers all of different colours ranging from black to neon bright and every colour in between. My husband doesn’t bother saying anything because he knows I’ll wear them anyway :D

Trainers are quick and practical. Not my colour, but if I wore them, I'd pair them with jeans or something. End of the day, it's footwear. Your comfort and personal style is all that matters!
Maybe he'd like to run the errands, so you don't have to go out in them if he has such a big problem?

They look nice to me OP! (Not my style, but objectively nice.) So do the trousers! I dont know why people say the trainers dont go with black trousers.

I voted YABU as they look a bit like they have holes in the toe at first glance and wouldn’t be my first choice of colour…. Then I remembered I go to the shops in fluorescent orange crocs, so I think you can discount my vote!
