Hi All,

I am wondering if any of you decided to give to their little ones the single one component measle vaccine? ( babyjabs are offering it)

if yes how it turned out?

many thanks,

I had it 40 years ago, because I'd already had mumps and rubella before I was due to have the MMR. (I was an unlucky little sod!)

I can recommend the measles jab, I haven't had measles so I assume its doing its job.

I can't recommend getting Mumps. It fucking well hurts, and pretty much my first memories are of being in immense pain.

So unless you've actually got a decent reason not to, get the MMR!

The founder of babyjabs has/had close links with Wakefield.

Okay gotcha. ;-) Thanks for your reply.

Hi, thats interesting! Thanks for replying. Ive spoken to babyjabs a few times - they have never said that to me?
Do you mean the MMR specifically? How long ago was that can I ask? I think they can't say that now as they are no longer able to import the single vaccine. Not sure what to do now.

I would get the MMR - no reason not to
