The Marks & Spencer’s 12 days of Christmas thing is crap this year

Last year they gave out gin and things this year I got a free Christmas tree bubble and then just loads of money off crap that I don’t want

Wish I had got the free light up liqueur, I bought one yesterday!
finally got a usable one on day 12 - free Percy pigs 😋

Last year I got the gin ( still have most of the bottle as It's not great )
But this year - zilch .

20% off coats. Ho-hum. Since I’ll be by a bigger M& S today I’ll check for my free chocolate coins (none left in my local)

Cons

• discount on only ONE carton of biscuits ❌
• discounts on pjs, jumpers and decs I am humming and hahing over but probs won’t use as I don’t NEED them ❌
• whole bunch of extra pointless discounts ❌
• no booze ❌

Do I get the disco pjs?!?! 🤔

On the bright side I just got 50% off premium beauty by stacking discounts at boots so I’m pretty happy!!!

I did just use my 20%off nightwear to get my DSs girlfriend a pair of pjs.
I would have used the coat discount as well but the coat i like is out of stock ( as per)

I have been lucky then - free Percy Pigs, handcream and room diffuser!

I got a free £10 perfume and a free light-up bottle of gin

I had a lipsalve and discount offers. I won’t bother next year.

Free bottle of Prosecco, but out of stock locally 😡

Typical spend approx 7k over a year. Got a free handcream and biscuits although did get the light up gin last year. Opened windows at random times.

Just rang customer service and been informed I have to go into store every day or travel 10 miles to next store lol
At the end of the day it is only a bottle of Prosecco however I feel like a child been given a present and then it is taken away

I was quite happy with my free tub of mini bites.

I spend probably £20 a week on average. But did a massive shop of two lots of university bedding and kitchen stuff in August.

Still better than J Lewis though. That was an utter waste of time.

20% off coats for me too today, which I won’t use. I had two freebies - Christmas cake slices and handwash - so I seem to have done averagely.

Considering how much money M&S may be making from selling our data - article in The Times last week stated that Tesco and Sainsbury’s make £300m a year from selling customers habits and choices - their Sparks card is so poor. Personally I would prefer if they scrapped the freebies and discounts and only did points.

Phone the store, explain to them and ask them to hold you a bottle or tell you when delivery is coming. Then phone again to check plenty there.

We went in for the Percy pigs and there were none so I asked a member of staff to check the stock room. hey presto! We got them. Now all gone obviously!! 😂😂

I won a free bottle of air atomiser ,or something like that?). Except there was none in store - surprise!

Soart from that I had 10% of utter rubbish that I wouldn’t buy anyway.

I didn’t open the last two windows. When I attempted to open them they wouldn’t open. I have a message stating all M&S card holders will be entered into a prize draw. Yippee!
