The Marks & Spencer’s 12 days of Christmas thing is crap this year

Last year they gave out gin and things this year I got a free Christmas tree bubble and then just loads of money off crap that I don’t want

Yep same here......one freebie ( chocolate coins) the rest has been money off . Problem is I live 15 miles away from my nearest store 😳😳

It seems to be different for everyone. I got a free rooms spray. I've seen others have free chocolate. I do wonder how it's decided who gets what and whether it's random. Im not sure if there will be anything like free gin this year and if there is it might be for a select few.

Utter crap. Same things here. And I didn't get gin last year, but did get a hand creme which was OK, much better than this year...

I got one thing that I can’t pick up because none of the stores have it in stock near me and money off vouchers, which I don’t want.

I can’t open the doors, despite being urged to every day. I emailed, but of course, didn’t have a response.

I wonder if new people signing up are getting rubbish and more loyal customers are getting better things. I've just got money off vouchers although a couple might come in handy. Oh and a bag of percy pigs I can't eat. Would have been quite chuffed with an ornament. I'm holding out hope this means we'll get something amazing soon

The amount of money I spend in there each week and I haven't had anything free. Just money off items I won't even buy.

No, I’ve been a member for ages and only got chocolate coins. I had suspected it was the other way round - that new members were getting the decent stuff.

well I must order about 50 quid worth of clothes every week and I’ve got that delivery pass which must make me a Marks & Spencer ultra

I’ve been a member for a lot longer than DS1 but he spends more money in there than me, because he buys his weekend food in there each week.

Also, they offered money off Christmas jumpers with me on the Christmas jumper day
. So that day I bought a little miniature Christmas tree and guess what they offer was the next day? Maybe they’ve got the algorithm wrong

I can confirm its not the new members getting decent stuff 🤣. Maybe it's truly random or spend based. I'm going to nag my wife to sign up and see if she gets anything better. I'm sadly getting excited about the 10% off plants 🤣

It's better for me this year than it was last. I've had two free things this year v 0 last year. I think it's completely randomised.

One gift, room spray which they probably won't have in stock by Monday. Rest money off voucher of which only one might get used. Nearest full store 15 miles away so a special trip is required if I want anything more than food. Even the nearest food hall is 10 miles away.

I spend A LOT with them, and mine has been utter shit.

Aside from a free lipsalve everything else has been discounts. Waste of time. I am very 😡

Same here! Every day telling me to open it, but when I try, it takes me to the sparks card! So frustrating!
