Last year they gave out gin and things this year I got a free Christmas tree bubble and then just loads of money off crap that I don’t want

Same I spend a fortune, I always thought the more you spent the more you would get back. But looking through this thread I don't think you do. The Sparks card isn't as good as their rival's loyatly system.

No freebies for me, it's all been money off. My nearest M&S is over 10 miles away so I tend to shop online and these offers don't reflect that which I think is really unfair. So many are for food items which we rarely have the opportunity to purchase unless doing a special trip.

I literally dress head to toe in M&S clothing, have paid for the delivery pass so would say I'm a good customer. Really disappointed.

I got a free Autograph perfume worth £10 but when I went to claim it was told something similar.
The clueless assistant didn't know what to do but a woman in the queue told me it was only a certain perfume, a man's one at the end of the shelf with a value of £7 or something.
I should have stood my ground but I was embarrassed by then. An unpleasant experience. Not good M&S.

But some brushed cotton sheets I’d looked at online on Dec 1 were 30% off with the door 2 discount so I was delighted with that (they’re winter appropriate but not Christmas themed and I’m so happy with them).

I think I’ve scanned my Sparks card in store once this year. My doors have only featured one freebie, some handwash, otherwise it’s all discounts

Their marketing team have got it awfully wrong this year. All they've done is pissed their customers off😂

I opened nine. Two free gifts not in stock in my store. The rest were discounts that crop up all year round. I'd have been happy with some free satsumas or chocolate coins so it's not like my expectations were high.

Discounts only for me too. Last year was awful for me to, I think I got one free decoration that was out of stock. Definitely no alcohol either year.

I was in store at the weekend and thought I’d use my 20% off biscuits. It was very specifically the £5 off selection boxes (not tinned or more expensive sets). Brought two and then realised at the till it was 20% off ONE box. They couldn’t even stretch to extending the discount to be off a couple of boxes when others are getting free gin!

My first freebie. Today I got a free dip. Nothing to dip into it though. Maybe I’ll take the hit, and not bother spending a tenner in fuel and over an hour round trip to go and collect it!

Mines been rubbish. Apart from the diffuser, mine have been minor discounts off things that I wouldn't choose to buy - either food that I would buy or clothing that I would wait for bigger sales discounts anyway.

Free dip for me today. I won’t go out of my way to get it but if I happen to pass an M&S I will look in. I had the free perfume last week as well. That is odd that some were told it has to be a specific one, I used the machine to claim the perfume and it went through fine so the staff were wrong!

A free bag of Percy Pigs, the only freebie I've had. And a partridge in a pear tree.
