To ask if everyone on Mumsnet is gorgeous?

Whenever someone shares a photo, even a partial one, it’s obvious they are stunning! Is it just me who isn’t!?

Nah its just only people who know they are gorgeous are going to be comfortable sharing a photo!

I'm fat and ugly so wouldn't be sharing pics on MH to show-off.

There was a pic last week with lots of "you look stunning OP" and the OP clearly thought she was femme fatale. I was nonplussed.

Not sure if it's limited to Mumsnet too. Loads of "gorgeous hun" on Facebook too

I’m not, and I don’t agree that most photos shared here are of stunning people. Probably fairly representative of the population.

Has there been a recent stunner on a prominent thread or something? People rarely share full face photos. I’ve seen a few photos asking advice over hair cuts or colours but most of them have some of the face obscured.

I'm fucking stunning but sadly it just never seems to come across in photos.

I have to admit I’ve posted a pic on style and beauty and got a lot of compliments- comparing me to Angelina Jolie and Arwen from Lord of the Rings. I wish!

Posted a flattering pic (to show eyebrows). Photo was the one I took for my work profile pic - used an ungodly amount of contour to give myself a jawline. Wouldn’t have shared a candid. I’m not photogenic.

I once received a backhanded compliment that I am "quite pretty" whatever that means. I am also extremely unphotogenic, particularly in selfies. I would never post my picture on here and agree that its skewed as only the very good looking posters do.

(I also maintain that the parents race at sports day is skewed as none of the unfit parents run and this alone is the reason I am always near to last)

I look horrendous in photos and am convinced there’s something wrong with cameras. And screens.

Nope I'm fat and not fair of face so def wouldn't put my photo on here! I think you'll find the only ones that do are the attractive ones!!
