Whenever someone shares a photo, even a partial one, it’s obvious they are stunning! Is it just me who isn’t!?

nope. I’d love to post a photo of my non glamourous self for you all today in my jogging bottoms and sweatshirt (wfh life) but I like my anonymity so I won’t. But basically I look like a scruffy troll!

I'm fairly attractive, but was much more attractive in my 20s and 30s (and early 40s.) Blonde wavy hair, quite large boobs, nice legs, full lips, large eyes, decent teeth, good skin. (I am 50-ish now!)

I am always shocked to hear so many mumsnetters say they are ugly, trolls, minging, fat pigs and so on. In real life I see very few women who fit this description, so I don't believe y'all! 😁 I think you're all a lot nicer/ prettier/ more attractive than you think. Please don't call yourself ugly and unappealing. You're all gorgeous. Really!

I would never post a photo on here though, and am baffled when people do. I prefer to remain anonymous, and even a photo of part of my face could identify me.

Well I'm not. I'm plain, I look my age and my hair is fucking MENTAL. It wasn't thick before but since my surgical menopause earlier this year it is thinner. It is so frizzy now that if the slightest puff of air disturbs it, it flies away from my head and just STAYS THERE. I mean, even the slight breeze produced from the act of sitting down makes it fly away from my head and stick out at all sorts of angles.

I once went out to the freezer in a moderate wind and when I came back my poor husband stared at me in shock and eventually said, "What happened?!" My reply. "Nothing!"

No of course not but we are all size 8 with a DH who has an outing hobby and a 6 figure salary which is basically pocket change in London.

The serious answer is not everyone who has ever posted their photo on here was typically attractive but women do this thing (and I say women because that's my experience on and offline) where they go OTT in complimenting stereotypically ubnattractive women by western society standards but the moment it's a woman who is much prettier than them by society standard you see the trolling and 'fishing for compliments' comments. Reality is, youth and looks are currencies for both sexes but more so for women much as I loathe this it's a fact and when she is prettier, she also has better and more opportunities in love, at work and money. It's unfair, attractive vs 'ugly' people live in a parallel universe.

For Health & safety reasons, I'd never share a pic of myself.
