Whenever someone shares a photo, even a partial one, it’s obvious they are stunning! Is it just me who isn’t!?

Honest, I'm not. For proof I can submit the comments of my year 5 and 6 who are comfortable quizzing me about my weird looks, then get hushed by TAs who are embarrassed.

I used to do film extra work, and always got cast as peasants. Not willowy nymph-like Scandi ones, the weatherbeaten-looking kind in a shawl, usually standing around gawking at something more interesting happening in the foreground, or throwing stones.

I think you can always tell the ugly people on here (and I don't just mean that in the physical sense) because they are always nasty and bitter towards other women.

I’m definitely not. I’ve got a round menopausal belly and a round face to match.
Dh says I’m lovely though and he likes snuggling into me, so all’s good!

I'm absolutely convinced that with a bit of lippy, trip to the hair dressers, full face make over, new wardrobe, botox, fillers and a bit of plastic surgery I could look absolutely amazing.

I'm fucking gross! All my life I've been ridiculed for my appearance. I'm not a bigger girl, more on the looking like a 13 year old boy. Acne, scars, wrinkles, no tits, bigger belly, so yeah, ugly!

15 years ago I was a professional model... now I'm 3 kids in, 4 stone heavier, grey haired, saggy titted and can't remember what sleep is.

I probably look like a wild haired troll doll most days... but thats kinda cute in someway right?

It’s very skewed though. I always get the impression everyone on here earns £100,000+, has Nannies and cleaners, has kids who are top of the class in every subject and they are impeccably behaved etc, but most people who don’t meet these criteria will seldom post about it. Don’t believe everything on the internet, it will make you feel inadequate 😂

I think some people are living their best lives on Mumsnet only. . The fantasists are more obvious, and easy to spot, than they think.

I've only ever seen pics of normal looking people. Day to day you don't see many gorgeous people. 80% of people just look pretty average I'd say

For the purpose of this thread, I asked my husband if I was gorgeous. "You are to me," he said. I think he may have been been under the impression that I would decide whether or not to make dinner for him based on his response.
