Dave Cameron is back in the cabinet…. desperate throw of the dice or inspired move to limit the inevitable defeat?

Looks like the guardian angel of the Tory party is still waving their wand.

Obviously any Rwanda legislation will still fail in the courts. Which means the Tories are going to have to make withdrawing from the ECHR a key (maybe the key) manifesto pledge and thus add the the list of reasons people won't vote for them.

This will keep them out of power - but alive - to scam another day.

If they were in any real danger of winning the election, I'd be curious how they could be saved.

This is basically the same dread hand that evicted Thatcher. Because if she hadn't gone, there would be no Tory party now.

Its not just the Find out Now poll, since it was carried out People Polling and Yougov have also had polls showing a drop in support for the Tories.

It’s actually pretty shambolic bringing back Cameron. Making him a Lord just so he can get a job back in the Cabinet.
I really can’t see Sunaks logic with this..

Logic is not necessarily Sunak's forte.
He spent August shouting about Stop the Boats, then when September arrived announced a series of policies to increase global migration.

Cameron and May fucked the police service. Brought in the Winsor report , completely angered the whole service and cut 20 thousand jobs.
