Clive and Iuliia Gurzhii were all over the news for 3 days in August, after idiotically going to give birth on a beach a long way from home.
The birth was unwitnessed and very odd circumstances.
I googled them and all I could find was a gofundme (never saw that one coming!!) - it raised GBP128 out of an ambitious target of GBP15.000.

Do you think they are still out there?

Who is Clive?

The flyer only talks about a Chris

It talks about Clive all the way through…

Chris is the name linked to the phone number though

Are we looking at the same flyer? It mentions Clive several times.

It is, however, an extremely poorly written load of shit. What are ‘legal fraud police’ and what have they got to do with removing a child, with no social workers present, for seemingly no reason.

Dixiechickonhols · 11/11/2023 23:51

Gosh I’d forgotten about this the first thread was fascinating.
So the left behind older sister is hopefully ok in foster care.

Catsmere · 11/11/2023 23:51

Another of Clive's fantasies!

InvalidCrumb · 12/11/2023 00:12

Isn't 'legal fraud' a phrase often chucked about (nonsensically) by the sovereign citizen, freemen kind of 'movement' - the people that believe people on the internet who say the government is acting illegally when it compels them to obey laws, etc?

MCOut · 12/11/2023 00:17

Poor poor girl. Through sheer stupidity they abandon her for months, invite media attention and the scrutiny of the authorities and when he finally deigns to come back to the UK she gets taken into care. I wonder what she’ll think when she’s older. I’m assuming Luliia is still there as only Elizabeth was taken and it mostly refers to Clive.

Assuming any of this happened at all, which given Clive's history and lack of functioning brain cells, I doubt.

SB1210 · 12/11/2023 00:39

Hang on, im confused wtf is going on here??

Catsmere · 12/11/2023 00:52

I'd summarise it as "Clive is making up shit again"!

dunroamingfornow · 12/11/2023 07:44

Looks like Elizabeth was removed by police on an interim care order using their powers of protection.
The private " fostering" arrangements with whoever was looking after her were probably not confirmed with the local authority. The law requires them to be notified so they can assess and support to make sure it's a safe set of arrangements for the child.

Not saying they always get this right, but they will have to remove first , assess and then plan. There must be more going on surely?

NOTANUM · 12/11/2023 08:53

That missing poster says Clive spoke to the police by phone. He may not even be back.

The red bit at the top says she was ripped from her dad's arms a week after the phone call. So that bit sounds like he's back.

NOTANUM · 12/11/2023 09:08

Ah I missed that. It’s a hard poster to read!

Which mother? My best friend and her wife are both mothers to their beautiful baby girl, and the use of ‘birthing parent’ has been brilliant for them as medical professionals have needed to distinguish which one of them gave birth.

👏

It was just an excuse for the usual rage that people dare to use inclusive language. Only shows the fount of this reaction is nothing progressive.

Circularargument · 12/11/2023 09:17

CoffeeBean5 · 22/10/2023 18:15

Doctor: Which one of you is the mother?
Your friends: We both are.
Doctor: sorry, which one is the birth mother?
Friend: I am the birth mother.

Simple. Birth 'parent' sounds as though dads can give birth too when they can't. As a woman who has given birth, I hate the term birthing person.

And as a woman who has given birth twice, it doesn't bother me in the slightest. Because it has literally no impact on me whatsoever. Or you.

Testina · 12/11/2023 09:27

I posted about Clive’s fell running controversies on the first thread!
There was definitely a poster then who picked up that he was part of the nutnut freemen of the land nonsense.
I’ve been periodically checking for more news and as the OP said - nothing.
Apart from their stupidity not being a good reason for a GoFundMe, they anyway made the mistake of creating that after selling their story - so no link to it.

That flyer is a development!

I don’t think it’s been written by Clive.
Don’t ask me why, but I just feel that he can use capitals. I think he didn’t in the GoFundMe.

I expect the flyer has been created by a friend or even just acquaintance via the freemen movement who have picked on this. The flyer is trying to build a larger case against the “legal fraud police 🙄)
Clive might not even be happy this flyer is out there - though I think he’s up to his neck in Freemen shite. For that reason, I wouldn’t assume any of it is accurate - so he might not have actually flown back.

OhBeAFineGuyKissMe · 12/11/2023 09:59

This is really incredibly sad now. That poor girl, being forcibly taken into foster care (even if needed) will affect her for the rest of her life.

If it happened at all ...

NOTANUM · 12/11/2023 10:09

@Testina do you have a link to the original thread? I can’t find it but am now intrigued!

Bridgertonned · 12/11/2023 11:45

Don't want to say too much as wouldn't be fair to the children, but Clive (or whatever his name is) has been causing hassle in the local community with his campaigns, so presume it's true (and it is his flyer, he's been delivering them himself)
I hadn't clocked it was the same person as the one trying to have a child abroad.

Mrchadchad · 12/11/2023 12:05

Clive is definitely back, he handed this poster in at a friend's workplace and my friend recognised him

Gingerkittykat · 12/11/2023 13:22

The post with the flyer has been deleted.

Is it the older child who has been taken into care?

Bridgertonned · 12/11/2023 13:45

Assuming it's the same one, Clive has been distributing flyers in the local area re an older child, with the child's name and photo, seeking witnesses. Lots of lengthy claims about 'legal fraud' against the police and the council for taking her illegally. Must be horrible for the child and can't imagine how much harder it must make the whole thing, with everyone in the area knowing your business.

Morningtroubles · 12/11/2023 14:04

SisterMichaelsHabit · 19/10/2023 08:36

More idiots who intentionally wanted to give birth in a stupid and dangerous place (the countryside days from a hospital in a country with poor infrastructure).
"Mystery illness for 9 months"
"Went into the forest to give birth in the shade"
Give me strength.
No thought for the baby as anything other than an Instagram prop in either of these cases.

Edited

No this does happen. That women get to birthing stage without knowing they are pregnant. I know two people in real life this has happened to. They were not overweight women either. It does happen.
