To think my husband peeing in the sink is...

DISGUSTING!! I was woken up in the middle of the night by an unidentified trickling noise. When I looked around I saw the ensuite door ajar and dh peeing in the sink! I had to do a double take as I wasn't aware this was 'normal' behaviour.

I told dh that it is disgusting as we clean our teeth, and wash at that sink! He is saying what else can he do as he has "a rock hard dick," and it would "get everywhere if he was "to do it in the toilet!" I then said could he not sit down to which he said that wouldn't work either!

DH told me this doesn't happen often, which made me realise he has done this before, he said it is only when he has been too hard. 🤢
Is this normal for men to do under these circumstances?
I have told him he needs to bleach the sink, as all I heard him do was run some water in washing his hands. If I hadn't have woken I would have cleaned my teeth there this morning!

Bleurgh. What’s wrong with him? I’d go apeshit if my husband did that. He should sit on the toilet to pee if he thinks it’s going to go everywhere. You need to have serious words with him.

So how come it would go everywhere with his “rock hard dick” if he went to the toilet but not when he pees in the sink alongside the soap and toothbrushes?

So he was "pee proud' and couldn't go in the toilet.

That's a load of rubbish. It's more than possible to do.

His excuse was that it is horizontal and the sink is higher so he can aim in it rather than at a height where it would.go everywhere. 😡

God knows how we ended up talking about it but my partner told me that guy at their work place had peed in the sink. Apparently it cooled his balls down. I said well don't be copying him in this house if you want to stay alive.

Update: I told DH this morning to do his dirty deed in the toilet, sitting down if he thought it would splash all over. He replied that he would "snap his dick." He then said "imagine you had a horizontal object that won't go down, what would you do?" I said "go to the doctors!"

He hasn't apologised and is standing by this, he maintains nothing splashed as he isn't doing it from a height. He is on disinfecting the sink as we speak.

I’m interested how he could urinate if he was fully erect.
Urine is fairly clean, verging on sterile, so not awful from an infection point of view. Still seems fairly gross though.

If it's rock hard & vertical, sitting won't help because it won't bend down enough.
The sink isn't the answer but those saying "Sit" aren't right either.

The shower\bath is a better alternative if using the toilet is logistically too tricky for him. The sink no.

That is revolting and not normal at all. There will be urine everywhere - back splash everywhere as it is curved as well. Is he saying because he has a hard on - he can’t direct it? Utter crap - totally lazy. He can bleach the sink and go and buy new tooth brushes and shudder my entire trust in his hygiene would be 0%
