To think my husband peeing in the sink is...

DISGUSTING!! I was woken up in the middle of the night by an unidentified trickling noise. When I looked around I saw the ensuite door ajar and dh peeing in the sink! I had to do a double take as I wasn't aware this was 'normal' behaviour.

I told dh that it is disgusting as we clean our teeth, and wash at that sink! He is saying what else can he do as he has "a rock hard dick," and it would "get everywhere if he was "to do it in the toilet!" I then said could he not sit down to which he said that wouldn't work either!

DH told me this doesn't happen often, which made me realise he has done this before, he said it is only when he has been too hard. 🤢
Is this normal for men to do under these circumstances?
I have told him he needs to bleach the sink, as all I heard him do was run some water in washing his hands. If I hadn't have woken I would have cleaned my teeth there this morning!

Dirty bastard 🤮
Stories like this clarify why I'm so glad I'm single

WrigglyDonCat · 20/08/2023 11:41

Perfectly possible to urinate with an erection, and yes easy to sit down and tuck it between your legs.

As I guess most know you can sort of 'break' an erect penis, but that's far more likely during sex when you a partner might make a sudden unexpected move or change that you can't adjust to in time.

So if OPs DH is particularly worried about his appendage breaking, there's a better solution than peeing in the sink...

Picture of Thatcher in the en suite should do it

😂😂😂

madeinmanc · 20/08/2023 11:51

Remember not to do your handwashing in the sink 😬

Clymene · 20/08/2023 11:54

I'd get a key for the en suite so he can't use it at night. By the time he's left the room and had to go to kids' bathroom, his erection will have gone

My DH can't pee if he's hard. Always has wait for it to go more soft before he can. I thought that was the same for everyone! Every day is a school day. But what your DH did isn't nice & I wouldn't like it either

AllMyExesWearRolexes · 20/08/2023 10:53

If it's rock hard & vertical, sitting won't help because it won't bend down enough.
The sink isn't the answer but those saying "Sit" aren't right either.

He claimed it was horizontal though. Men on the thread confirming sitting is actually the answer

This! I was gonna suggest the plank across the pan move.

Divorce him.

Didn't take long....

What a vile man.

BrightGreenMoonBuggy · 20/08/2023 12:20

My husband says yours is lying and he could easily have aimed down on the toilet without ‘snapping’ it or pissing everywhere. HTH

BrightGreenMoonBuggy · 20/08/2023 12:21

I think he was having a wank - I caught my ex doing this into the sink…

viques · 20/08/2023 12:25

Well at least you know what to get him for Christmas, a portable male urinal . I am sure he will be able to stuff his impressive stiffy into one.

Wsmi · 20/08/2023 12:27

That is beyond disgusting. When you run the tap in the sink to brush your teeth, you’re being splashed with the disgusting germs in the sink.

Sorry, but your husband does not sounds like he is a civilized, grown up human being who know how to live like a human being.

Husband reports that you just lean forward. Either stand and put your hand on the wall behind the toilet and lean forward or if necessary sit right back on the seat and lean forward and push it down.

He also agrees peeing in the sink is grim.

Yep, I just checked with mine. He says he leans forward over the loo with one hand on the wall

HelpMeGetThrough · 20/08/2023 11:34

Ok, I'll answer.

Yes, you can have a pee when erect, no you don't need to pee in the sink. It's perfectly possible to pee in the toilet. You just need to stand a bit further back than normal and, errr, point it down a bit, as tumescence subsided (always wanted to use that word!!), you shuffle (carefully!!) towards the toilet and crack on.

Never once missed the toilet, even at 3am. I have an aim Eric Bristow would have been proud of.

Here ends the lesson on pee proud slashing.

It is wrong that I'm now thinking of the late Jim Bowen and Bullseye and Jim saying "In One"... just me then? Ok.

People of a certain age who used to watch the darts quiz show will probably get this reference.

If he really really can't sit on the toilet then he needs to go for a cold shower.

  1. It will help with election problem and
2) it can go down a contained plughole away from toothbrushes with plenty of water to flush it away.

NOT the sink.

AperfectMess · 20/08/2023 12:56

Thanks all, dh is still maintaining he can't sit down as it will snap it as it would need to be bent right forward, and that hovering in the middle of the night isn't an option that will work. He has told me this predicament only happens about twice a year.

He said he will just do it in the shower cubicle next time!!

I'm lost for words at this point...

Sympathies OP. My husband once peed in our toddler son’s potty. This was because he went in to check on our son after a drinking session, saw the potty and thought “why not”.
Need I add that he walked past two bathrooms on his way to do this.
Moral of story: men are disgusting.

AperfectMess · 20/08/2023 12:59

Maybe shower is the only option, 😡 he won't run it I doubt though after incase he wakes the dcs

OP posts:
DoraSpenlow · 20/08/2023 13:03

Couldn't he have just run it under the cold tap until it went down? Gross!
