To think my husband peeing in the sink is...

DISGUSTING!! I was woken up in the middle of the night by an unidentified trickling noise. When I looked around I saw the ensuite door ajar and dh peeing in the sink! I had to do a double take as I wasn't aware this was 'normal' behaviour.

I told dh that it is disgusting as we clean our teeth, and wash at that sink! He is saying what else can he do as he has "a rock hard dick," and it would "get everywhere if he was "to do it in the toilet!" I then said could he not sit down to which he said that wouldn't work either!

DH told me this doesn't happen often, which made me realise he has done this before, he said it is only when he has been too hard. 🤢
Is this normal for men to do under these circumstances?
I have told him he needs to bleach the sink, as all I heard him do was run some water in washing his hands. If I hadn't have woken I would have cleaned my teeth there this morning!

Sorry I meant vertical, my brain is tired today from my middle of the night waking and reprimanding of DH.

Wait till he gets upset at it happening and point out that’s how you feel when he pees in the sink."

Haha, he gets so grossed out over periods, why are men such babies about that I don't know?!

The drama on here, a sink or bath is very easily cleaned, if it's a one off, let it go.

@Blanketpolicy and @Fannyfiggs - great diagrams and I'd not call it the "Plank across the pan" because that sounds like exercise for him but if you were to call it the "Superman", that might be more appealing to the underdeveloped male brain?

See this really doesn’t bother me. Dh occasionally pees in the sink. It’s just wee. You rinse the sink after. Done

I can not picture a sink design where pee hitting it from hip height wouldn't cause splash back. It would splash EVERYWHERE. Sinks are generally just or on below penis level. He would have to do weird bendy acrobatics to bend his penis downwards. Nope. I really can not see how he does this with any degree of urine control. If it hit the back wall of the sink it would just go everywhere.

Yes, apparently men can urinate with an erection, I was also taught they couldn't in sex ed at school but I read on Reddit that they can. So not sure where this myth originated 🤔

They can with a soft eye ruin but according to dh, if it's rock hard it struggles to come out.

Meh, I couldn't get wound up about it as long as he keeps it in the sink and rinses it down. If he's splashing about, that's another matter.

I caught an ex doing this and he told me all men do it, it's easier to pee in the sink, etc. Years later I figured out he was actually washing his dick after shagging a random. At least he washed it I suppose.
