How much domino's pizza can you eat?

We are just about to do an order and it's dawned on me it's costing nearly £50.00 😨

Me and my Husband can pretty much eat a large pizza each. We have three children so we are ordering three large and one medium, totalling a whopping £48.98. Surely this is ridiculous for four pizzas. ?! This includes the 50% off too 🙈

Find Domino's a bit doughy & yuk
Can eat a Pizza Express regular, but a Romano leaves me feeling too full.
Absolute favourite are Pizza Union, super thin & crispy, I can eat a 12inch one of those, but have a feeling they may only be in London.

I can eat a large to myself if not having any sides or dessert, otherwise I’ll get a medium. I usually go for the thin base though which is less filling than the deep pan one

I could eat a large easily but never buy them any more because they are hideously expensive and give me the flaming trots every time. Their chicken strippers and BBQ dip are food of the gods though.

A medium thin crust does me nowadays. If I have sides, I'll share a pizza and the sides with dp but this doesn't often work out as he has a bigger appetite and could quite happily do a medium plus sides on his own so is really only an option when he's not that hungry.

I'm not so sure that my appetite has shrunk, more that my digestive system can't handle it and I end up feeling ill.

At our local branch the mediums come out nicer anyway. I don't know if it's the crust/topping ratio or the amount of time in the oven but the large ones are always a bit dry and overdone.

Re the price - collection is much cheaper and works for us as there's a dominos handily located next to DP's work. Still expensive for what it is but less of a hit than the delivery.

2 or 3 slices and some dough balls. It tends to give me heart burn and a bad tummy though! Worth it 😂

My husband and I usually have a 12 inch pizza between us, but we normally have a stuffed crust and extra toppings (including extra cheese). We have no problem getting through it. My children would probably have managed more when they were teenagers.

@isitshe Absolutely! I was really talking to the 50 quid for a takeaway. But one day have a go at making your favourite one. It won't be much cheaper, particularly the first time-but soooooo much nicer!

I can eat a large but always feel too full and uncomfortable after! Sometimes i'll leave the last 2 or 3 slices for the next day

I’m fat (size 20) and greedy but I’m still amazed anyone could eat a large Dominoes. We order a large and share and 4 slices in and I’m stuffed. And I really can eat quite a bit…

If I'm getting a take-away, I'm getting one I can't make myself. Pizza isn't complex and literally takes 5 minutes to prep. It blows my mind that anyone would pay these prices.

If I have a pizza, it would be a small one. I make my own though, as I think that the markup for greasy, not particularly nice takeaway pizza is outrageous.

In all seriousness, I could eat most of a large on my own but dominos absolutely always gives me an upset stomach.

Papa John's cheese and garlic sticks I could eat my the boxful.

Me and DS have to have small as gluten free only comes in one size. I can demolish the whole thing with a tub of coleslaw easily. I wish bigger sizes were an option. DS used to eat an 18" pizza during the peak of his hollow legs phase and pre diagnosis.

I can only do a medium with a side and cookies, I usually leave a few slices of pizza too. A large would destroy me 😆
