To find unpainted toenails gross?

I wouldn't dream of wearing sandals without unpainted toenails. I just think it looks horrible. Am I being weird? I don't care what anyone else's feet look like though tbh.

I wouldn’t wear sandals with unpainted toenails, but that’s for me. I can’t say I really take any notice of other people’s feet.

I used to think this when I painted mine religiously. Slightest chip, remove and repaint.

Then I got out of the habit and now I'm so used to bare nails it doesn't strike me as weird.

I don't like feet though, not a fan of them in general. I find it a bit antisocial when people have their bare feet out (not sandals but proper bare feet).

I don't like the look of nail polish. We're all different <shrug>

I can count on on hand the number of times in the last 30+ years I’ve paid any attention to anyone’s feet. And even then I’m mostly going “ooh I like those shoes/boots/sandals” not “oh my good Lord how hideously revolting that someone would have TOENAILS THAT ARENT PURPLE WITH GLITTER”

I'm the same. Like you say - I don't even notice or care what other people do with their toenails, but I hate looking down at my own toenails and seeing them unpainted.

Painted look better but chipped paint is worse and I don't have the energy or time to keep on top of it so 🤷🏻‍♀️

YABU why are clean, neatly kept natural toe nails not acceptable to you.

YABU. It's like saying faces without makeup is gross.

It’s pretty far down the list of things to worry about to be honest.

I love bare nails on hands and feet. In fact I am revolted by long gel nails.

My big toe nail has come off completely, so I prefer not to paint any of them, so that it's less noticeable.

I'm always horrified at people who take their shoes and socks off on a long-haul flight. Obvious this is very much my problem and not theirs, but UURRGGGGH, FEET!

I like painted toenails personally, but I don't think unpainted is gross. If they are neat and clean who cares what colour they are. What I do hate is long/overgrown toenails painted with french tips.

I just like, or at least, I don't mind, the look of unpainted, bare nails if they're normal, clean and looked after well. I don't ever use nail polish. I never wear sandals either, though.

For anyone implying I'm sexist I actually said I don't care what anyone else's feet look like. If men want to paint their nails they can.
