To find unpainted toenails gross?

I wouldn't dream of wearing sandals without unpainted toenails. I just think it looks horrible. Am I being weird? I don't care what anyone else's feet look like though tbh.

I'd much rather see nicely looked-after feet with naked neatly filed toe nails, than calloused and dried-out totters with akky, overgrown nails 'camouflaged' with pillar box red nail varnish.

Maybe some people wear false toenails if they have some missing and it gives them confidence. I can't imagine they feel very comfortable though. I cut my finger and toe nails as short as possible

I noticed SJP had bare nails in the latest AJLT episode and it felt so refreshing.
Do bare toes in developing countries sicken you? Do men’s bare toes trigger this response?
Most people in the world do not paint their nails.

I personally like my own toenails to be painted but don't care much about other peoples' as long as they're neat and clean.

What is horrible is really long toenails like fingernails, or false toenails.

This!! Long toenails make me heave.

I always have my toenails painted because I had an operation on a big toe years ago and the nail grew back thick and a bit yellow. It looks like the start of fungus but it definitely isn’t. But because of that I keep them all covered. I do look after them though.

Bare feet make me feel physically sick. Painted nails or otherwise.

I dislike feet and can’t stand seeing people’s toes poking out of their sandals. I think they look like pig hooves.

I wear flip flops from about March to November! 😂 Unless it’s raining of course.

I don’t like painted nails, fingers or toes. And any sort of fake nail makes me feel a bit sick.

It was quite warm in London on Sunday. I haven't worn them much for a couple of weeks though.

Brits are deranged about feet. I grew up in a country that has long hot summers and barefoot/flip flops were standard so I guess we were all used to seeing each other's ghastly trotters on a regular basis.

I have psoriasis and it makes some of my toenails all thick and ridgey. Sometimes I pick at the white nail/|skin stuff underneath my nails and roll it into a ball. Passes the time.

Loathe painted toe and finger nails though - especially finger nails, I always worry about the grubbiness that they might be hiding.

Gel toenails along with feet that look taken cared of I can tolerate

I absolutely hate feet, mine, yours, everyone’s!
I’m usually in socks at home and full coverage shoes when out, my exception to this is flip flops when on holiday/at the beach and even then when I can get away with trainers I do. My feet are fine, no crusty heels and normal nails, I just hate them, feet are so strange 😂 I do have my toenails painted at all times, it’s part of my weekly routine to give myself a mani/pedi. Not fancy, just remove old polish and redo!

I’m with you OP. I was recently on holiday with a mixed group of friends and not one of the men had painted their toe nails, it was so gross to see them by the pool. I wasn’t sure whether to say anything or not. Worse, one of them hadn’t removed his armpit or leg hair. So unhygienic.
