Breastmilk from another source? Wet nursing? For most new mothers this is impractical. The lack of support for breastfeeding in the UK is a scandal, but we do have clean water and formula. I was able to feed both my children but I was formula fed myself and I've turned out OK. I would have done that myself if necessary and it wouldn't have been the end of the world.

Breast milk from another source can mean donated breast milk. My twins were premature, and while they were in the neonatal unit I was able to give them milk donated by other mothers to the hospital, both before my milk came in and also as I was building up my supply.

For the sake of clarity, I'm going to use biological terms. This man is like the stereotypical child in the playground chanting "nah nah na nah nah"

He has a nipple fetish and can now use this current era of woke bollox-ology to indulge himself and flaunt it. Most of the time, I don't have the time or energy to get involved in these discussions but this time there's a child involved. It's a baby fgs. He's not feeding that baby, he's using that baby.

This is not in the best interests of the baby.

No man can ever ever ever be a woman, no matter what they do to themselves and call themselves, and as upsetting as it is for men to invade women's spaces this is a whole new level of depravity.

The poor child. A real mother does what is best for her child which is why they often make the painful decision to switch to formula if breastfeeding does not work for them. It's about he child, not about the parent, or dad in this case.

I had a traumatic birth and very low milk supply, was almost readmitted to hospital because ds wasn't gaining weight and was basically told I had to formula feed. I had no idea there was medication available, no one ever mentioned it.

@Ohhhhhhhhh I had no idea either, and have lots of friends who had to stop breastfeeding for similar reasons. It is disgusting that women get no help and along comes a man with a fetish....

It isn't breastfeeding.

The secretions produced by these hormones in a male body are NOT nutritious and do not resemble breast milk.

It is just a nasty, dirty fetish, and a poor infant is being forced to be part of it. He claims that because they also give the baby formula milk, that makes everything all right.

It doesn't. This is abusive.

I honestly despair. Some people really do solve the myth of "How is the Daily Mail still so popular?!" and it's bloody depressing.
