13 year olds DD sleepover with boyfriend

spudulike1 · 06/07/2023 18:03

I have a 13 year old DD that wants to sleep over at her 15 year old boyfriends house (I know there is an age gap but he is quite immature so i am not overly worried about it and dont really need comments on that as I know them both so am comfortable with it as all time is spent in our house or his with parental supervision)

My Dd says all her friends parents allow their boyfriends to sleep over. I just want some parents to let me know if they would allow it. Im sure if the answers but am going to show her I'm not being unreasonable!!

Nooooooooooo

Onepotatotwopotatothreepotatofour · 06/07/2023 18:04

Absolutely no way. Over my dead body.

LobsterCrab · 06/07/2023 18:04

I have teens and there is no way I would allow this at her age.

Caravanvirgin · 06/07/2023 18:04

Well some parents do but like every parenting decision what other people do doesn’t matter.

FatNoMoreSue · 06/07/2023 18:05

Short answer - no.

Long answer - nooooooooooooooooooooooo.

PinkElephantsandLemonadee · 06/07/2023 18:05

Hell no!

Doteycat · 06/07/2023 18:06

Nope. Not a hope in hell.

MissBattleaxe · 06/07/2023 18:06

Not a chance in hell

Notmineagain · 06/07/2023 18:06

Wth is she doing even having a boyfriend at 13?? She's a child Fgs. Go be a parent and stop this nonsense of sleeping over at her 'boyfriends' house. I despair.

TeenDivided · 06/07/2023 18:06

No way. She's having you on that 'all her friends parents' allow it.
Either that or I wouldn't trust her to sleep over at friends either if that's their parents idea of suitable behaviour.

TheSeaDoesntKnowMyName · 06/07/2023 18:06

My Dd says all her friends parents allow their boyfriends to sleep over.

Yes, and they all have the latest iphones/samsungs and ps5s and are allowed to stay up all night.

x2boys · 06/07/2023 18:06

She's 13
Seriously its just asking for trouble

Mabmabdwarf · 06/07/2023 18:07

At 13?

absolutely no fucking way.

TwoBlueFish · 06/07/2023 18:07

Nope.

GretaGip · 06/07/2023 18:07

Littlespud you are SUCH a chancer.

Fuck no

heartsinvisiblefury · 06/07/2023 18:07

Noooooooooooooo with bells on

Laurabeee · 06/07/2023 18:07

My response would be absolutely no!

My opinion is that 13-year-olds are still very young and should be focusing on enjoying being that age and doing well at school rather than romantic relationships.

BastetsWhiskers · 06/07/2023 18:07

Not a good idea

spudulike1 · 06/07/2023 18:07

I agree with you all and have said no. I was wanting proof that I'm not the only one who would say no. I am also apparently the only parent who doesn't let her have her phone in her room over night!

Rumplestrumpet · 06/07/2023 18:07

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!

Missgemini · 06/07/2023 18:08

NO!

fuckthisprivilage · 06/07/2023 18:08

I am a pretty relaxed parent and this would be a hard no from me.

Rumplestrumpet · 06/07/2023 18:08

Hilarious. All 13 yr olds are allowed sleepovers with their boyfriends. Pull the other one

StopStartStop · 06/07/2023 18:08

Absolutely not.

No matter how lovely a boy he is, he'll try to pressure her to have sex. And she'll be at risk of worse.

Be a parent. Protect your child.

Nicetiesandwhatnot · 06/07/2023 18:09

No op. Kids cleverly only convey what parents often want to hear. She is just 13 so it will be a no from me . Hold your ground.
