To be very fed up with the weather

When's summer? I can't believe it's June tomorrow. AIBU to be fed up with it. I just want some warmth to enjoy before we're back to putting the heating on.

Where are you OP? It's been 23 degrees in South Wales for nearly 2 weeks, not a cloud in the sky.

Grey for the last three days here (Suffolk). I feel your pain.

Saturday was glorious, but it's definitely been a cloudy dull spring, much, much more so than usual.

There’s a real East-West divide with the weather at the moment. North easterly winds coming off the North Sea are pushing in banks of cloud cover that means most days where I am in London (and elsewhere on the eastern side of the country) are overcast, chilly and very breezy. Whereas those further west of us are basking in blue skies and sunshine. We’ve had a couple of sunny days, but very limited and no proper warmth yet.

I feel you OP!l. Luckily we’re heading west tomorrow as we’ve booked a minibreak in another city that should be a bit sunnier!

Sorry to hear it’s not nice down south. Makes a change for us to have it so lovely in the NW!
Been warm and sunny now for 2 weeks with more to come.

West Wilts here. Very cool and totally cloudy today. Was sunny yesterday but not very warm as its so bloody windy, its been windy and cool since Saturday.

I'm in the east 2. We get a couple of decent days then back to the grey. Rain overnight last night. Needs to cheer up soon for hay making.

There’s a weird system over the uk just now and it’s really slow moving. The east of the country is really cold because of the wind coming off the North Sea. I’ve heard that it could be like this for the whole summer! (Something to do with the jet stream)

Yes, warmer weather is permanently a few days away isn't it. And the wind chill is constant.

What on earth are you on about then? London has been warm, dry, and for the main part sunny over the last two weeks. The bank holiday was glorious.

Non stop cold wind in Kent . Every year I go to the Garden show at Detling and it is roasting . This year it was freezing . There was one stall with wind chimes and they were so loud that I couldn’t rush past fast enough .
