To be very fed up with the weather

When's summer? I can't believe it's June tomorrow. AIBU to be fed up with it. I just want some warmth to enjoy before we're back to putting the heating on.

I'm in London. Wish I could get to South Wales, that sounds lovely.

I live in Wales but am in London for a few days. I have been freezing wandering the capital. Wish I was back on the beach at home! Slightly warmer today.

Raining here in Lincolnshire, it's cold currently have the heating on.

It's currently 12 degrees where I am (east of England). We have had a few days where if you can get into a properly sheltered spot it's lovely and warm, but otherwise there's been a bitter wind. It was lovely and sunny on Monday, so I sat out in the garden at around 4pm, but the wind was so cold I needed a jumper and a blanket not to have goosebumps.

It’s been baking here, South west for the last 10 days. Next 10 days look even hotter. I hz r started to worry about a drought and my plants! I am sorry it’s so cold in the SE. Miserable. Come here!

Cold N or NE wind Force 3 or 4. Seems the norm across South Midlands. Long sleeves + jacket or put heating on.

18-23 degrees in Yorkshire over the last fortnight too! Today we have grey skies and it's cloudy but the rest of the week is meant to be nice again.

I live just outside of London and it's been lovely for the last couple of weeks. Got a bit burnt sitting out near King's Cross on Saturday...

I’m on the South coast. We’ve had blue skies and warm temps for at least a week or ten days now, but there is a strong wind from the north. Makes paddle boarding a bad idea, but if you can find a sheltered spot to sit, it’s lovely and warm.

Scotland was hotter than ibiza yesterday 😂 already very warm and I'm in a big open field surrounded by hills.... The wee breeze is keeping the midgies away!

East Kent here. Grey and overcast today with a North East wind that'll cut you in half, given the opportunity. Right on the back of the house, too, so freezing in the garden. I feel you, OP.

It’s not! I’m in the SE on the coast and it’s been glorious the last couple of weeks and set to continue! Not sure how it’s so much worse in London as we’re only about 1.5 hours away.

I'm in Cumbria and we have glorious sunshine and over 20 degrees forecast all week. In Cumbria Shock. I've lived here 9 years and have pretty much grown webbed feet. Sorry you're having disappointing weather, OP.

Northumberland here and I've been at the beach most days and swimming in the sea, which was brassic.

I even got a bit of heat rash yesterday. And yes, that is a stealth boast Grin

Besides last Saturday it’s been rubbish in the north east

sick of it

sick of the cold and wind and clouds

sick of having to wear long sleeves

It’s miserable here in Lincolnshire but so pleased that NW is getting good weather as my granddaughter is with boyfriend in the Lakes (first visit) for a post finals treat!

I agree. Sunny, maybe 18 max, but a strong, cold, northerly wind. Brrr.
